If you have a twitter page, go to @rolandsmartin and ask him. But it is true that he is playing on White Fear. It has nothing to do with just class, and economics. He may throw a little bone, as in the economy, but the fear thing is real. His base, is scared that whites will eventually become the minority. They can’t handle that.

Again, Trump is playing on White Fear. Hear is a shorter version than what I showed from yesterday from Roland Martin, but it is 26 minutes long.

Steve McNair. He got to a Super Bowl with Jeff Fisher as Head Coach. That is a miracle in its own right. I doubt any other QB could do that.

I believe Jimmy Butler is the guy that may end u going the Lakers.

Kawhi I hear is probably going to stay with Danny Green, now they have to find a way to get Marc Gasol back.

Don’t be shocked if both Brandon Ingram, and Lonzo Ball end up going to Washington in some package deal to get Bradley Beal.

Cavs are probably going to trade the 5th pick to Atlanta to get the Hawks 8th & 17th(originally was the Brooklyn Nets) picks.

Nets are going to sign Kyrie Irving

DeAngelo Russell will be either an LA Laker again, or an Indiana Pacer.

Kemba Walker is staying in Charlotte for a season.

Mike Conley, even with his age and his contract, could be huge on draft day.

If correct, we gave Goff the fifth year option, not sure how it works with that, but I would sign the extension, because if correct, this year & next years fifth year option is already done, so the extension would not take place until 2021 either way.

You see Iron Man got the stones and said “I am Iron Man.” It did bothered me that it couldn’t be Thor, and have Thor with the stones, saying, I am Thor, GOD of Lightning or something. Jeesh.

I’m hearing that Dak Prescott is on the verge of signing a contract that is going to be worth $30 Million per year. I’m guessing the guaranteed money is the only thing that needs to be worked out.

I count 85 players on the roster. We can add 5 more.

How about it Ag? We’ll just walk on and account for two of the five remaining guys. LOL

I gave it a B-. Some I liked, some I didn’t like. We may have two starting Guards. In the future, Evans could be used as a swing Tackle as well, in case he has to spell in case either Havenstein, or Noteboom, should either go down.I really like the Chandler Brewer signing as a UDFA. Hopefully he could stick in the future, and no one steals him off our practice squad. Gaines is what we need at NT, which for now he can play behind Brockers for a season. I felt Gaines was a 3rd rounder, that we got in the 4th, excellent value. Next year, we can add depth, by getting Gaines a big NT as his back up for depth.

New #Rams OT David Edwards battled through a shoulder injury last year – he’s fine now – but he felt playing through it affected the tape he put out there which he feels likely affected his draft status. Ultimately he’s glad he stuck it out with his Wisconsin teammates

If he is a 100%, this dude can play, and should be on the field. If possible, RG is a strong possibility. Kromer can coach him up.

    Player Bio

Edwards was a high school quarterback that operated the veer offense for three years at Downers Grove North, a western Chicago suburb. He grew into a spot on the Badgers’ offensive line as a redshirt freshman in 2016, starting seven of 13 games at right tackle. Big Ten coaches voted Edwards a second-team all-conference performer while national media voted him to the Associated Press third-team All-American squad in 2017. Edwards started all 14 games as a sophomore, blocking for stud freshman running back Jonathan Taylor. Before the 2018 season began, however, Edwards hurt his shoulder. Instead of shutting it down for the year, he played through the injury for 10 starts at his right tackle spot before deciding to rest the shoulder so he could be at 100 percent for the pre-draft process. Edwards was a second-team All-Big Ten selection despite missing those contests. His father, David, played football at Indiana while his cousin (Garrett) and great uncle (Ron Leoni) played at Illinois.

    Overview

Quarterback-turned-tight-end-turned-right-tackle who has maintained his light feet but is missing functional strength and body control to hold his ground against NFL power. Edwards isn’t the technician we’ve come to expect from the Wisconsin program and he’ll need additional technique work to help make up for some of his physical deficiencies. He’s still a pup as an offensive lineman and he should improve with more experience and weight room work, but it’s tough to project him behind average backup to low-end starter at this point.

    Strengths

Former option quarterback and high school basketball player with good feet
    Early quickness in pass sets
Gets long arms unfurled and extended into opposition
Mirror movement needs work, but is fairly natural and fluid
Has potential to stick and slide after engagement
Adequate hip roll into contact as base blocker
Initial quickness to cross-face on backside zone blocks
    Experienced in multiple run-blocking schemes
Recognizes best angles up to second level
Agility to alter body positioning in space

    Weaknesses

Initial slides are quick but might not gain enough ground
Outside hand gets erased opening path to his quarterback
Too many over-sets open inside counters
Punch-pull technique gets the best of him
Lacks sand to drop and anchor against bull rush
    Play features inconsistent hand placement
Chronic waist-bender who falls off drive blocks
Upper and lower body work independently
Below-average leg drive to generate movement
Feet deaden and he fails to improve base-block positioning
Defaults to maul mode over technique in recovery

    Player Bio

Gaines’ stout build and hustle have earned him all-conference honors after each season since his redshirt year in 2014. The All-State and All-Orange County selection from La Habra, California started six of 13 games played in 2015, receiving honorable mention notice from Pac-12 coaches (28 tackles, one for loss). He was an honorable mention choice again as a sophomore, making 35 stops, eight for loss, and 3.5 sacks as a 14-game starter that year. Gaines plowed through the line for 30 tackles, five for loss, 2.5 sacks, and three pass breakups in 13 starts as a junior, achieving second-team all-conference status. He was a first-team pick in 2018 as he started 14 contests and racked up career highs in tackles (55), tackles for loss (6.5) and sacks (3.5) while also intercepting a pass.

    Overview

Stubby, high-motor interior defender whose tape can fluctuate from play to play. Gaines is a short-arm defender with average hand usage but can time up the snap often enough to create early advantages from time to time. He plays with a strong anchor in general, but his proclivity for ending up on the ground will not endear him to defensive line coaches. His effort and strength make him a Day 3 rotational 4-3 nose.

    Strengths

Has ability to set a strong anchor against single blocks
Willing and able to snack on double teams
    Good motor and effort guy
Stands ground and constricts gap when feet are set
Impressive ability to slide off of block and into tackle
Quick punch and peek technique to find ball early on
Shoots out of stance with good pad level
Attacks the crease of double teams with force and looks to split it
Creates pressures with bull-rush and secondary effort

    Weaknesses

Will lose his footing and end up on the ground way too often
Stubby arms at just over 31 inches
Unable to consistently separate from blocks due to lack of length
Needs to win in early phase of the rep or he gets overtaken
Lacks traits and toolbox as pass rusher
Needs to develop a rush counter when bull-rush stalls
Battle for hand placement could be a struggle in NFL
Unable to punch and slide to maintain his fit against zone
    Below average change of direction

my second favorite pick. although i wish he could play center.

Center to me is not a need. I prefer a Guard. I like to see if Brian Allen is the guy. I don’t want Austin Blythe back at RG.
