Marshawn was one of the best ever. A little better than Steven Jackson?

i would say definitely not. lynch had the benefit of playing on superior teams.

i can only imagine how jackson would have been in mcvay’s offense.

love those vids on simmons, tillery, and lawrence, ag.

tillery looks like the best to me still. and with the most potential.

Snead said there may be so many good D-linemen that none of them make it to the 31st pick.

    that’s my fear.

yeah. tillery would be something else. imagine him playing alongside and learning from aaron donald. he and lawrence both have exceptional size, strength, explosion, length.

but tillery especially has that body type. so many nfl players have or have had success in this league.

deforest buckner was mentioned in that video.

    but also…

    richard seymour
    chris jones
    calais campbell

that length, size, speed combo is just immense. and the only downside on him is that he’s raw and has interests outside of football? i mean those really aren’t negatives.

it’s been written about his work ethic and his nastiness. no, i’m not worried at all. but it’s also why i don’t think he lasts til 31. no way.

at this point i don’t think tillery lasts until the rams’ pick.

i want no part of simmons.

i think there’s a chance lawrence is there at 31. i want him. trading down and pickup saunders would be good too.

that whole area is going to completely change.

regardless. he’s got best case scenario 3 prime years left in his legs.

    the clock is ticking.

this could accelerate things. i hope not, but even with the best case scenario he’s already past the halfway point of his career.

from NFL stars who could fade this coming season

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/nfl-stars-who-could-fade-this-coming-season/ss-BBVVeyu?ocid=spartandhp#image=5

#5. Jared Goff, quarterback, Los Angeles Rams
If the end of last season is any indication, it’s quite possible that we’ve already seen Goff’s best. Playoffs included, he threw seven touchdowns compared to eight interceptions over his final eight games. The Rams decided against extending him this offseason, a move critics will argue suggests the team may think Goff has already hit his ceiling.

well. like i’ve said before. he may very well regress at some point in the next 2 seasons. but that would actually be normal for a lot of qbs.

i don’t think it means you give up on him. and i think mcvay and snead are too smart to do that.

Both Clemson DL, Dexter Lawrence and Clelin Ferrell, are visiting today with the Los Angeles Rams, per source.

    interesting.

i like everything about winovich except for his disproportionately short arms. if only they were an inch longer.

on the other hand i love that his major was evolutionary anthropology.

    Just playing.

    hahahaha!

i know. seriously worries me though that tillery isn’t gonna last until 31.

but shoot. if tillery is gone but dexter is still there, i hope they don’t pick winovich.

    short arms!

the closer we get to draft day the more i’m thinking the rams should be drafting tillery. if the opportunity is there.

my main worry is that he creeps up everybody’s draft boards.

How the H.E. Double hockey sticks would you rank Mitch Trubisky over Deshaun Watson?

it is a little baffling. i always thought pretty highly of watson. woulda been my pick if the rams hadn’t picked goff the year before. of course i had no idea how good mahomes would be at the time.

Just to put Ed Oliver’s 4.19 short-shuttle time into perspective, here’s some other notable results:

    4.18 – Antonio Brown
    4.19 – DeSean Jackson
    4.24 – Saquon Barkley
    4.24 – Le’Veon Bell
    4.25 – Julio Jones
    4.39 – Aaron Donald

    that’s just plain nuts.

probably doesn’t make it to the rams.

    plus he’s got short arms.

dunno. he was ranked top 5 among tight ends for what it’s worth.

and he definitely flashed last year.

2019 is a make or break year.

So did Wade do a good job or not?

Playoffs: Cowboys got 22, Saints got 23, Pats got 13.

    Is that good?

    w
    v

yeah. i sometimes wonder if he’s lost his fastball.

he’s got a reputation for turning defenses around. not sure if i’ve seen it yet. i expected more by now. is it personnel? do they need more of a pass rush? dunno.

with the oline being a question mark. or at least moreso than last year. and gurley needing to be managed instead of the workhorse they were accustomed to. and with the draft being particularly talented on the dline and edge. i’d like to see the defense pick up the slack. get a blue chip dlineman. draft an edge defender for depth.

and then we gotta see if wade can turn the defense around. i think the results with the rams have been mixed.

    hmmm…

not sure how i’d feel about that.

It can be managed to an extent.

yeah. i think they could get 2 more good years out of him. not great like he had been. but i’m thinking 1500-1600 total yards. 15 tds.

i think at the end of 2018 the total carries just took their toll. he needs to be paced like a pitcher. keep him fresh at the end.

goff has to step up. but is he capable of that?

    we’ll see.

Arthritis just gets worse, it dont get better, right?

    it does not get better.

they have to alter how they use him.

they have to transition to a more pass oriented offense.

    goff’s gotta step up.

They lost Ndamukong Suh, but I would take what Eric Weddle and Clay Matthews bring to that field and locker room over what Suh brought 24/7/365. Not close.

    ehhh…

    we’ll see.

depends on who they draft. if they can draft a defensive lineman in the first round, i think they’re in good shape.

and center. they need a center.

yeah. this is what i was hoping for. move him inside. move him outside.

i’m wondering if matthews or ebukam could play inside. i’m hoping it’s actually kiser, but that might be wishful thinking.

ok. so i recognize exactly one name on that list, but just that one pick would make me really happy. that’d be a heckuva dline there.

If Gurley plays as if nothing is wrong next season, very little will be made about the injury. But if he only gets 15 carries per game in 2019, those difficult questions will come up again

ehhh. wouldn’t be the worst thing.

15 carries a game comes out to 240 carries over a season.

his career average is 18 carries a game.

never actually convicted but wasn’t this guy arrested twice on rape charges?

yet bell and brown are the bad guys?
