watkins is valuable for sure. but i don’t think it’s imperative that they sign him. there’s talent on the receive roster. the coaching staff i gotta trust has a good feel for how good reynolds is. maybe this is a case of trusting the guys you have to step up. not only that, but i gotta think that kupp gets better from his rookie season. reynolds filling somewhat the watkins role with kupp getting even better. is that enough? i don’t know. but i also don’t want the rams to overpay watkins.

plus. i also gotta believe the offense as a whole can get better. especially goff. i think there are things in place that could offset losing a guy like sammy.

i’d draft the best damn player with the first. hopefully, it’s a pass rusher. or vea.

that right there is the makings of an elite defense.

exactly. i don’t even see left tackle as particularly strong this year from what i’ve read. i think it was on a downtown rams podcast where they were speculating that left tackles would get overdrafted due to the lack of talent there.

get best player available. i’d even get vea if he was available. he’s got star written all over him.

of course i say all this without having watched ANY of these guys play so…. hehehe…

it’s a gamble. he’s inconsistent at best right now. so you’re paying for potential. is he really worth 12-15 based on his past production?

i like him. i like the potential. at this point i’d rather spend it on other positions. but i won’t be totally disappointed if they re-sign him.

i mean i should be happy with how the season turned out. more than could be expected. still. that first round loss was so disappointing.

well deserved. now hopefully the rams get him signed to a contract extension.

i’m only on board if they can sign him at a reasonable rate. but personally i’d rather see them make this defense great.

i’m a little concerned. i was hoping to at least keep lafleur for one more year.
