The defense played well and hard.  Which was great to see.

Closer than expected again.  Not bad, hope they show heart the rest of the season.  That would be a big difference going into next year imo.

I agree with ZN.  This year is shot because of injuries, not because their system of putting a team together finally caught up to them.

Provided a couple key players like Stafford come back next year and they aren’t overwhelmed by injuries, they will be right in it again next year.

I am still happy we won the Super Bowl last year 🙂

I don’t think Goff would’ve won last year. Stafford is better.

They do need offensive line help. Lots of injuries this year is not helping.

Defense struggled to get off the field on third down. Offense struggled to protect the quarterback and to run the ball.

Not a recipe for success.

Not playing the first string likely cost us a good chance at this game, but may still turn out to be the best strategic decision for the season.

They will get better.
