HerzogParticipant
So you think it’s more of a coaching issue? I personally feel like he has a couple of blind spots, but I am not nearly knowledgable enough in NFL schemes to back that statement up.
Last year I really thought it was the younger players not always doing what they were suppose to. But the last few games made me think it was more than that.HerzogParticipantI really liked the move for Barron. IT’s like getting another McDonald.
I’m not sure how much help either of those two are in coverage but hopefully they’ll be good enough in coverage and spectacular in everything else, which I think they will be.
I expect the defense to be much improved In the second year of Greg Williams system.HerzogParticipant“Something must live in the box”
LOL that one made me laugh
HerzogParticipantIt makes almost every quarterback drafted a gamble.
HerzogParticipantI’ll bet his agent isn’t too happy with him telling everyone how much he loves Fisher and the Rams.
HerzogParticipantI wonder what Weinke thinks of Davis
HerzogParticipantYeah, I completely agree with Flipper’s remarks. Brockers is a BEAST. I wanted him to add muscle (and weight)…not lose it.
HerzogParticipantI like the part about not re-inventing the wheel. Smart. I am feeling pretty good about Weinke as our QB coach.
HerzogParticipantHe also made the mistake of thinking weight loss would be good for his position. I think that was a BIG mistake. He is still one of my favorite players and I’ll bet his presence lifted Donald’s numbers a level.
He’s not a splash numbers guy…. But everyone else is because of his presence.

And I bet that’s true…..if not for the cap hit alone. I love Bradford the player, but we’re now going on a very bad injury track record dating back to Oklahoma. If you look at the last seven years, I don’t know why you would expect that to suddenly change now.

HerzogParticipantI like be that idea too. Freeman had so much promise. Maybe with the right qb coach and a less free wheeling offensive system could make him effective.
HerzogParticipantI certainly hope that last part was not serious
HerzogParticipantHerzogParticipantI agree, he’s going to be a beast.
February 18, 2015 at 6:59 pm in reply to: Grayson, Hundley, Petty, Carden etc. … the qbs this year #18670HerzogParticipantYou know what’s ironic? Our QB project from last year, Garrett Gilbert is sitting at home with a shiny new Super Bowl ring. Isn’t that just a bite in da ass

HerzogParticipantWe still have Barnes don’t we? Why can’t he play center…. I thought he did a solid job a couple of years ago.
HerzogParticipantAlso, remember when Schotty was fired from The Jets. One of the main things they talked about was that they can now “simplify” things.
There’s something to this but I don’t know what it is.
HerzogParticipantThat person should have been Bobby Wagner. Trading that draft pick was such a stupid mistake.
HerzogParticipantTime to give those young guys a chance!
February 12, 2015 at 7:56 am in reply to: Mock Draft Roundup: Third Edition Posted 14 hours ago Myles Simmons #18355HerzogParticipantIs this a strong year for offensive lineman? Or are they just mentioning the best available?
February 11, 2015 at 3:59 pm in reply to: Insider Buzz: NFL Teams Want Sam Bradford, If Released, over Mariota & Winston #18330HerzogParticipantI believe Bradford would have had an amazing year. But he’s fools gold right now. How many seasons has he stayed healthy even 70 percent of the time? What’s the definition of insanity?
It’s really disappointing that we have NOBODY waiting in the wings.
I can understand the appeal to other teams…. bad quarterback classes usually yield people like Mark Sanchez in the first round.
HerzogParticipantNow that we’ll have some continuity, I feel a lot better about him. I still think he was a mistake.
HerzogParticipantI should have seen it before. I think Fisher was hired due to his success navigating a team through a city change. I don’t think he’s going anywhere anytime soon
HerzogParticipantNOV 6!!!
HerzogParticipantwhy wouldn’t it make a difference?
January 21, 2015 at 3:01 am in reply to: Browns interview Cignetti, Rams can't interview Chud or Van Pelt #16985HerzogParticipantThat’s cold. Could the Rams offer a job to a person they were denied to speak too? Or is that part of what they aren’t allowed to do.
- This reply was modified 9 years, 10 months ago by Herzog.
HerzogParticipantYeah I don’t get it. In any other sport, if you cheat, you forfeit that win. Why is it different in the NFL. Mother effing patriots get away with murder.
They steal championships. It pisses me off.
January 19, 2015 at 6:21 pm in reply to: Alex Van Pelt or Chudzinski for OC? Rams ask permission to speak to both. #16884HerzogParticipantNooo west coast offense…!keep it Coryell. Chudinski is the only one I’ve liked so far bc of that fact.
HerzogParticipantSurprised no Ogletree on that list
