Also…Goff has 4 td and 5 interceptions in his last 5 games. That includes the Arizona game.

I liked the 2018 version of Goff. This version isn’t even close. I feel like you are in denial about his TURNOVER problem.

Wolford hit Everett in the hands in the end zone…. that wasn’t his fault.

That Arizona game that Goff dominated in is the only game he didn’t play below average (in the last 5). Have you seen his numbers in the other 4? They aren’t good,

Fumbling matters. You can’t spin turnovers…I think Goff loses that Arizona game.

No way I Wanna see the TO king playing this next game.

You can win with a great defense paired with a good running game and no turnovers.

Also, Goff NEEDS Kupp. Wolf it’s doesn’t.

Turnovers are a big problem with this team. We are one and done no matter who plays QB unless the TO don’t stop.

That being said, I think he played better than Goff has been playing. I think if he had more time with the ONE’s , he could be good…maybe not great, but good. Goff has been less than good.

    ZN,

You really don’t care about the turnovers? I’m shocked

Thank you…. knew I wasn’t crazy. It isn’t acceptable to me. It’s one thing if the payoff was high… but his td to Int ratio isn’t good either.

I didn’t get to see the game…..I’m not sure I want to now. I know a lot of y’all love Goff, but how is 1-2 turnovers a game for a QB acceptable?

We will rally around John Wolford, and we will play good football.

Dude, I said that exact quote a few weeks ago.

I wish they’d play more of that 2 TE formation like they did against the Patriots

Remember two weeks ago I was asking for 2 TE sets, and we were all like, Nah Mcvay won’t do that.

Well, he did it the majority of the time in that last game. I’m quite certain Mcvay must have read my post and changed his game plan accordingly.

Aikman mentioned, in the 2nd quarter, after a Pat DLineman came close to snagging Goff — that Goff sometimes seems oblivious to oncoming rushers.

Thats how it seems to me, too. Maybe a lack of peripheral-vision or somethin. I dunno. I thought the same thing about Bradford.

    Agree, disagree?

Just seems like Russell Wilson has a sixth sense about rushers. Yeah they can get him, but they dont ‘surprise’ him. Seems like Goff is ‘surprised’ more than the elite-QBs. But i dunno.

Joe Montana WAS AMAZING. Goff ain’t no Montana. Back then, you could hit A QB on almost every play.

Fair enough…. I feel like he’s trending down, but let’s see what happens next week. I hope I’m wrong.

. I don’t remember a single game where Goff willed the team to victory.

I can. I think the problem is not that he hasn’t done it (he has) it’s that people don’t remember it.

He has to his credit 9 game winning drives and/or comeback wins. Those are situations where if the qb doesn’t come through with little time left, then you don’t win. They include the Green Bay game and the Kansas City game in 2018. They also include the 2018 championship game in New Orleans.

There’s a few others and then…there’s last week.

    Last. Week.

At. 3:53 they had a tie game. They then win it on a drive that was entirely passing, leading to the tie breaking FG.

In a game where the Rams could not run and threw the ball 51 times against the league’s 3rd ranked defense (it was at the time, now it’s 6th).

So yeah he has done it.

He used to do it, now if it happens, it seems more like luck coupled with a good defense. It hasn’t happened much since 2018.

I agree with Zooey completely when it comes to Goff. I can’t see us winning a superbowl with a qb that can’t go uphill. I wish it weren’t true but we are wasting this team with him at QB.

Had a whole anti Goff post but it got deleted. A good metaphor for his play and ability to rise above.

    Give me Woolford
