He said all the right things so far.

3 or 4 comeback wins os a good thing.

I don’t blame Fisher at all. He wants to control the flow of information. I get that.

at some point, we have to have people to step in for other people.

We’ve been so low on talent, for so long, that it’s hard to conceptualizer that we need a constant influx of talent, even at positions that we feel good about.

Last year we went HEAVY on secondary. Next year it’ll be time for these guys to earn their keep.

time for you to accept that and move Abandon this futile hope that JJ becomes a reliable and consistent corner because it’s not going to happen and I don’t want to see you get hurt.

LOL you are freaking hilarious…. And probably right.

Sucks though… All that God given ability…. Yet one blindspot ruins it all.

    I’m with you 100 %.

You know what’s nutz? Last year we signed Saffold, and drafted Robinson…..and those two are the only starters we have. I really can’t believe it.

Holy shiest. What that tells me is that we HAVE to draft our qb of the future in this draft.

We also need to draft people to step in for the people that are gonna be cap casualties next year.

If GW is trustworthy, than top 5. However Jenkins alone could screw it up.

If not, than first in sacks, blitzes, and big plays given up. Top 20 defense.

IM not sure if I trust him yet.

That’s the perfect word for Chip Kelly: Hubris. I see many differences in JJ and Chip.

Kelly’s health and science program didn’t do much to prevent Vick and Foles from getting hurt. It can’t control what happens on the field.

Jaworsky absolutely LOvED Foles in 2013. Said he had great vision and was light years ahead of his age. In 2014….. Not so much.

I don’t want them to cut Givens. I want them to stop trying to use him as an all around receiver and make use them as they did his rookie year…as a deep threat specialist.

Foley can sell the play action…. Givens could have value.

JT said in the radio interview that Bradford was willing to take a pay cut and they were working on that up until the combine when they found out he was being shopped by the Rams. That’s when talks broke down. Bradford wanted to remain a Ram and was willing to take a pay cut but the Rams low-balled him first and then started shopping him. Bradford decided not to take the paycut because it would just facilitate a trade.

This is very different from what we have been hearing.

    Well… It was from JT…. So….

    PS. About getting a #1 …

    You get a #1 … OR …

You get a proven, starting QB.

    You don’t get both!

Exactly. A number 1 draft pick and no proven starter equals a guaranteed bad season.

It’s a resounding YES from me. I believe this was by far the smartest route to build our team for next year and beyond.

This feels surreal. My first instinct is… What’s wrong with him.

However, if he plays up to his talent, than I can’t comprehend how good this defensive line will be.

Put ayers in as an additional pass rusher….. Just a nasty pass rush.

Too bad other facets of the game matter.

Wasn’t there a line with Leslie o’neal, Gilbert and Kevin Green (although he was technically a linebacker)

I like the pocket presence and the play action. He’s the guy to steer the ship….. A ship with a good defense and a good running game.

If either of those things don’t happen for the Rams, then Foles likely won’t elevate them. If all these things do happen, than I don’t see why he can’t take us to the promised land.

I’m getting real worried about the o line though. I’m tired of “building” an online. We have to have something respectable.

I just watched some highlights. I am really surprised at how many of his touchdowns came on play action. He does seem to have some decent pocket awareness.

I didn’t like the Long signing because I thought he was beat up and overrated. And, when he played here, he really didn’t look that good to me for a LT. I never really thought it was a great move. Now, if they lose Barksdale and they can re-sign Long cheap as a RT possibility, I’m OK with that. But, you better have a Plan B.

I think that if we don’t sign Barksdale, we are royally screwed.

People say that and never prove it. Did Brady get hurt again? Did Adrian Peterson? Did Kendricks get hurt again, after his surgery?

Wells had one routine scope. He wasn’t hurt in the way you mean that.

Long had arm surgeries—why would that mean he would rip up his knee. The issue was entirely whether he could still function at a high level after the arm injuries. No one said “he will get hurt again, in a different way” when he was signed.

I think the “guys get hurt again” thing is myth. Until someone gives me percentages, I just will always continue to think it is myth.

They CAN get both old and beat up and find it hard to come back. That would describe Wells NOW. Not when he signed.

Now there are guys like Saffold whose luck is so bad, if it’s not one damm thing it’s another. Over and over. But none of that described those 2 (Long and Wells) when they signed.

I believe that you and Chip Kelly subscribe to the same philosophy.
