Participant10 million??? I didn’t realize…. Now I get it….. I doubt they can afford him next year
Herzog
ParticipantI was really perplexed that they seemed to have big plans for him, yet declined his option.
Herzog
ParticipantHe’s got no heart. Put an Uninjured Kendricks in his spot and Harkey in Kendricks spot. I would love to see that.

ParticipantOH man.

ParticipantI’ll bet we’re on the bottom 10 list
Herzog
ParticipantI think the run defense is going to get worse without Ogletree.
Herzog
ParticipantRogers hasn’t thrown an interception at home since 2012? SHIT
Herzog
ParticipantI don’t put the Rams up there. I remember the year we whipped up on the NFC west, but everyone else beat us. Now, if we beat Green Bay…then I’ll think differently.

ParticipantIs there a Gurley thread? I have some thoughts.
Herzog
ParticipantI wondered about the wisdom of changing to zone blocking vs. keep some continuity. Basically, doesn’t it set Robinson back to almost a rookie by changing things yet again. Then again, if zone blocking is the reason Gurley could do what he did, than I guess it was the wise move.

ParticipantHe was having an insane year… Pro bowl type…. The Rams defense wasn’t the same after he went out
Herzog
ParticipantFucking back up to Tony Banks in Baltimore and back up to Shawn Hill in SF?? Fuck this guy…
He’s lucky he only needed to complete 12 passes in the Super Bowl. Ravens won in spite of him.
LOL This is my favorite reAction ever
Herzog
ParticipantCould Immaturity be caused by constantly putting rookies in key roles. Just a thought.
Dilder might be right, but I still wanna kick his ass.
Herzog
ParticipantSeriously????

ParticipantI never understood the two days off thing. Seems like valuable time wasted to me.

ParticipantSo Fish and Vermeil are buddies?

ParticipantNo way the Colts belong in the top 6 after the beatdown they got.
Even though zooey’s just a Raider fan and as such should be considered clinically insane, he does have a point about the Rams.
Beat the burgundy and yellow team on the road and then come back and beat the Steelers at home and I’ll believe they belong in conversations about the top ten.
Even a top ten team could lose one of those games
True, the Rams could lose one of those games and still finish the season in the top 10.
But what evidence do we have to say they belong in the top 10 at this early stage of the season unless they beat both of those teams?
True, not much yet. But, hey, somebody thinks we’re pretty darn good.

ParticipantI’d cut Peade now. Seriously. Just cut him. Please. Just do it.
Herzog
ParticipantNo way do I believe the Niners are better than us right now.

ParticipantOf course the sample size is too small to really tell, but I’m thinking Cignetti has a better ability to identify what the defense is doing and adjust the offense accordingly. Nothing overly complicated, just tweak it. I felt like Seattle was playing the run and Cignetti ran plays that took advantage of that. I like that he’s up in the booth.

ParticipantThe baby offensive line did decent
Herzog
ParticipantYes, in overtime. You heard it here first

ParticipantCan we change the masthead and remove Fisher ‘s face? This guy has done nothing … nothing to earn a treasured place as the identity of the team.
Put Aaron Donald up there.
Or maybe the Deacon. Maybe someone from the GSOT. No-one since has earned much honor.
But Fisher is a complete fraud. I hate seeing his face as the identity of this team.
LOL…I’m with you….I’d rather have no face than Fisher’s right now.

ParticipantIn this day and age of limited practice time, continuity matters. I was happy that we somewhat had continuity by keeping the same defensive coordinater and keeping the same offensive system.
This team doesn’t look like a team with continuity. The third pre-season game will tell me volumes. I don’t see anything I like yet.
I am sad.
🙁

Participant“He just understands what he has on his bench in terms of players
and he understands what each player can bring to the team
and he uses those players to the advantage…”Well, we keep reading this about Cignetti.
We’ll see.w
vIt’s kinda funny, they are saying Cignetti’s name, but I get a weird feeling they are indirectly talking about Schott.

ParticipantDestroying evidence is standard protocol for the Patriots. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was Brady’s last received text messages:
Roger G: Destroy it
Tom: Roger that (get it?)
Roger G: Shut up Tom…Love you -
