I’ve heard this type of thing before for the last couple of years but then the regular season begins and he blows again. He is so young still but seems to wait for someone else to fix his problems.Remember when McVay was hired and he said he hoped the new coach would really push him? If he suddenly becomes the dominate player he was drafted to be I’ll be happy for him.

Sketchy Refs , It seemed to me like the Chargers were headhunting the only one they called was that shot Reynolds took and held on. Then the announcers say it was a good call after the replay reversed it , no it was a horrible call, mistake that got corrected . Defense wise I’m glad that the ones didn’t play cause that was awful. Did anyone catch that shot of Goff talking to McVay during the FG and McVay looking perturbed? Watkins , Woods , Kupp, Austin and Reynolds whens the last time we had a WR corp like this?

How could we know Donald has yet to play and they’ve looked dominate at times. Where does he play in this defense? I don’t remember the last hold out but I think injury and sub-par performance is pretty common after a big contract is signed in a holdout .

Kupp and Reynolds are clutch Goff out plays Carr. Defense needs to get a lot of people back. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a preseason game this much.

Don’t get too bummed about trading for Watkins remember the trade for Faulk turned out okay.

Both offense and defense look vastly improved just from an Xs and Os perspective.

I don’t think rookie Tom Brady pushed into that middle school offense full of players that thought they got that season off because of the move, full of receivers with the worst drop percentage in league would do any better. That said if it becomes clear Goff can’t handle the job I couldn’t take another Tony Banks length tryout . We need to win and soon. I’m not saying playoffs but at least .500 and be competitive

I live in Eden Prairie, the Minneapolis suburb where the Vikings practice (Winter Park). The truth is we don’t get snow like we used to. 15 years ago snowmobiles were still a thing, people would ride them to work and such. Not so much anymore. If you like to fish there is plenty of that though the ice fishing is only diehards left. Lots of golf. Very polite friendly people generally. Minnesota nice causes the famous Minnesota traffic jam “you go” “no you go”.Museums Concerts and festivals abound . I moved my wife here from Cebu , Philippines and she loves it.

That D roster is looking pretty ferocious Donald ,Brockers and Easley with Quinn and Barwin outside. I can see that as problem for lots of OLs.

I’m okay with 9 wins. I think the offense can turn around quickly but it will have to because the D is going to be in transition for a while

Maybe that’s why Thomas was looking so good in OTAs/Mini Camp.

He deserves the lions share for sure. That team was so stacked even in 98′ I’m surprised they weren’t much better that year. DV has a brilliant football mind and an eye for talent no doubt and he learned from mistakes and adapted. When he left there was definitely a leadership gap on D an ST.I often wonder what would have happened if DV stuck around for a couple more years.

It drives me nuts when Martz gets blamed
for 2005 . They locked him out Oct 10th 5 games in they were 2 and 3. The man had an infection in his fucking heart. How’d they do after he was fired ? Well they sucked ass for a dozen years and counting.

If inconclusive is a valid reason for retraction

I didn’t read this as anyone saying normal “inconclusive” was the reason for retraction. It was far more serious than that. Including sloppy method and failure to provide evidence.

Well if it’s such a poor case so easily dismissed why the forgery ?

    Avatar photoEternal Ramnation

I don’t know if you read the whole article o not but Fellous was found guilty of forgery. Occam’s razor, follow the money yeah but no conspiracy theory. If inconclusive is a valid reason for retraction we need to retract every pro GMO study done to date.

    Avatar photoEternal Ramnation

No I think not. The study came under fire because Goodman in an Ex-Monsanto guy. Using a forgery to prove your point pretty much closes the case for me . Needs more study? Cannabis needs more study 6000 years of safe use, the most studied plant in the history of mankind needs more study but this fraud they call golden rice has shown nothing in near 20 years. Yeah there is some bias here. You don’t need a forgery to feed hungry children in the Philippines . I know I’ve spent plenty of time there.

That is about the best news I could’ve hoped for. Just think what that does for Gurley and T.A. when Woods can demand coverage by your best DB. When blitzing becomes dangerous.

Maher’s just another hypocritical establishment dem. I voted Stein HRC won MN. To me that indicates the establishments and corpocrats willingness to back the most hated candidate in history bears the blame. If they weren’t such crooks they’d be shouting from the rooftops Interstate Crosscheck and Trump and Kobach would be behind bars.

The role of newly added receiver Robert Woods, a steady possession guy, figures to be unchanged, but it will be interesting to see how Austin, a talented speedsters who has underachieved, will be impacted by the arrival of Reynolds.

With receivers such as Pharoh Cooper, Nelson Spruce, Bradley Marquez and Mike Thomas also in the fold, there figures to be plenty of training-camp competition

Woods is faster than Britt or Quick he ran a perfectly respectable 4.51 and is most certainly a capable , credible deep threat. Austin needs to learn how to catch and how to defeat press coverage at the line before his speed is much of a threat deep.

I give it an A. I didn’t know they even had picks this year but we’ve go three WRs that can catch and one burner and I like that.

I never even watched Kupp play but damn those highlights look awesome! He might not run fast but his mind is very fast. I don’t see him as an Bruce type wr with Kupp having a couple inches in height and 25 lbs. on Bruce. Bruce had a very good top gear that won’t show in 40. Kupp is topped out at 40 yds. Bruce was still accelerating at 60 yards with those gigantic gazelle like strides. What I like the best about Kupp and Reynolds along with Woods is the hands. They all have exceptional hands.

When else is he going to do it ? He’s pretty much known for bad conduct in the off season. His physical abilities should have him all pro consistently,it’s the effort and general lack of character that holds him back.

I voted for Stein, can’t stand the Clintons, the DLC, the Dems in general, etc. My own political philosophy is well to the left of even Stein’s. But, to me, there’s just no getting around the fact that the Russians decided, with the help of Wikileaks, to ONLY expose Democrats. This couldn’t help but sway the election results to some degree, because the ONLY party that was exposed was the Democratic party. If Wikileaks and the Russians had published emails from the GOP and the Trump campaign too, there’s no doubt in my mind that Americans would have learned unsavory things about them as well. At least as bad as the Dems. At least.

I know you’re a Leftist Billy_T. I’ve read your stuff for decades now and enjoy it . I was very happy you returned. I just don’t think hackers would find anything in GOP emails that would make people leave the GOP and vote for Hillary. What could they possibly say?
“Hey after your interview on Fox tonight let’s volunteer downtown at the shelter and help some poor folks” or maybe “hey lets pencil in next week to work on a bill to ban all firearms “. These are people that believe Obama is Muslim and they hate Muslims .They’re generally stupid enough to murder Sikhs because the ” believe ” that Sikhs are murderous Muslims. My theory is they(Hackers) wanted Sanders and tried to get HRC to pull out for the good of the country but that’s just not who she is.

The whole Russia hacked the election is just so silly to me. Bots didn’t do and say all those
terrible things from the hacked emails. That was the Clinton machine/DNC. HRC’s campaign chair was freaking John Podesta who along with Brother Tony were Putin’s right hand money men. Palast found very little hacking at all in the General mostly low tech stuff specifically the 2000 style voter purge of Interstate Crosscheck. The Democratic primary on the other hand was hacked to bytes on a massive scale and the media pushing this Russian nonsense was complicit actually holding a secret meeting/election among themselves and proclaiming HRC the winner before CA.the largest state in the union had even voted. There is mountains of evidence that proves this but because HRC is one badass lawyer there is no legal recourse. Now I’m not opposed to removing Trump through legal means iow without deep state fuckery but I have confirmed Russian’s are laughing their heads off at this influencing elections business.
