    Goff got benched again.

    Nice win though.

Thomas and Reynolds showed up. Best offensive performance in ages. First team Oline played good. Lot of players played good.

Kupp and Reynolds are clutch Goff out plays Carr. Defense needs to get a lot of people back. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a preseason game this much.

So, at this point is everyone pretty much in agreement that the Rams will host the NFC Championship game?

    I’m happy.

The WRs can catch. We can move the chains.

Goff looked comfortable. Sensed pressure. Stepped up and made passing lanes.

The O seems to be able to get the ball to talented people, in space. That’s a huge improvement over the last few years.

Lots of “good hands” guys on the O. WRs, TEs, RBs, all look like they can make a catch in traffic.

This O will help the Wade Phillips D by keeping them off the field.

Right now the O looks better on 3rd down than any I’ve seen from the Rams in a long time. True, Oakland’s D is below average, and their pass rush isn’t good, but at least the Rams moved the ball, controlled the clock, and made plays on 3rd down.

I saw lots of improvement everywhere on the offense.

First of all I want to introduce myself as the President of the Cooper Kupp fan club.

Receivers are suddenly a strength of this team and it feels good.

I’m in a good mood about the game and the feel of this team right now. It’s pointed in a good direction.

    Some quick thoughts:

I can’t wait until the entire defense is healthy and everyone is in there(Donald) to see what they can do. I’m a bit concerned about Quinn. Hopefully he plays this week.

I wonder if McVay’s reasoning of putting Goff out behind the second string line was to speed the game up for him a bit–to make him a little less comfortable in the pocket to see how he responds. In any case–the line, both strings, gave him pretty good protection.

Nice to see Gurley running with some power and authority. I think he likes this offense.

The refs were a little flag happy.

Still waiting to see the “bowling ball of butcher knives” do something. So far Rogers has been invisible. Did he even play last night?

Big game this week as the so-called “dress rehearsal” game” and then the 4th(sit everyone) game. When is the first big cut down?

Anyway–great time in the chat room enjoying the game with my fellow Rams maniacs. Hopefully we can enjoy a lot more this season.

When is the first big cut down?

There’s now only one cut down day, so no “first cut down.” They go from 90 to 53 after the final pre-season game on Aug 31st. All teams must have reduced their rosters to 53 by 4 PM on Sept. 2.

The chat room is great on game days. And yes as you say, it’s better even when the Rams look good.

i just want to add that as good as the stats were on goff. and they were good. his play was even better when you consider that mcvay was most likely dialing it back on that last drive.

Teams will no longer be able to stop the Rams by stopping Gurley.
