Eternal RamnationParticipantTheir tackles maybe great but Quinn at this point he’s been getting steadily better game by game and he destroyed Brown actually embarrassed him last week .
Eternal RamnationParticipantI must add watching Woods pick up right where he left off was awesome! Seems like that guy is always the answer. Kupp didn’t let the drop stop him, that sideline YAC was crazy good so many stand outs Johnny Johnson was ballin as well Troy Hill made some plays, Littleton on and on playmakers everywhere.

Eternal RamnationParticipantI thought “reheated shit burger ” was insightful. I bet the author feels better now. Wilson’s quote that got tweeted about being in first place next week and Bennett calling Gurley an average back might have added fuel to an already blazing fire. I didn’t predict anything for this game because I honestly didn’t know. When I saw the Rams take the field they looked like a team that was going to win.
Eternal RamnationParticipantQuinn is back ! OL was opening Buick sized holes for Gurley and Brown. Robey-Coleman was outstanding. Vikings and Eagles not wanting a rematch after watching that one.Cooper is the best in the league. Coming back after a heartbreaker at home to crush the bully on the block in their house, McVay is going to be a great coach for a very long time.
Eternal RamnationParticipantNot the same D minus Wagner and Wright. If Wagner plays chasing Gurley with a hammy will take it’s toll. The Rams aren’t the same either without Webster and Tree isn’t 100%.
Eternal RamnationParticipantWe have two players on offense that can take over games , Gurley and Watkins . I hope we keep Watkins and he does make it back to his Clemson days self. I’m thinking I’ll have to put Goff in that category pretty soon as well.
Eternal RamnationParticipantFired the wardrobe lady after 10 years for stealing clothes. Just sad on so many levels, the saddest being someone having to accept that degrading treatment for 10 years to keep her job.
Her lawyers say she never stole clothes and can prove it. So who knows.
Yeah I would be astonished if she stole anything. In human vs billion dollar corporation battles I always back the human.

Eternal RamnationParticipantIt is nice venting about a meaningful loss in December after scoring 35 points. So frustrating because it was all right there with both the Vikes and Hags losing , we win we jump to 2nd seed. Carolina looking like they’re gonna be tough in the Wild card round next week at the Hags is for the division basically.
Eternal RamnationParticipantHe did taunt him Jack stood over him head butted him and after JuJu Thurs . a 5 year vet shoulda known but he is undisciplined and sloppy , the entire D was .
Why didn’t the refs throw the flag at Trey Burton? He threw the ball at our defender, who was on the ground.
Who knows Jack but Trujo can’t effect that and he could have on the play he taunted on and saved his team some valuable time.
Eternal RamnationParticipantWentz is a gamer Goff could be as well but needs more seasoning held the ball way to long. Imo his competing with Wentz hurt the team. He did some great stuff as well. To me that D is way over rated. We need 4 quarters of run D .
Eternal RamnationParticipantHe did taunt him Jack stood over him head butted him and after JuJu Thurs . a 5 year vet shoulda known but he is undisciplined and sloppy , the entire D was .
Eternal RamnationParticipantThe defense was an undisciplined joke just pathetic. Not like they were outplayed by superior players. Stop the run in the first half , it’s freaking the 13th game get yer shit together already!I am thoroughly disgusted with these guys. Game 13 with the 2nd seed on the line and they go out and do this. They’re going nowhere if they do get in, which is far from a certainty with the Hags ready to snatch the division from the Rams next week.Chances like today don’t come around too often and when they have they end up squandered.

Eternal RamnationParticipantThe Rams are a winning team! Their run D is terrifying to me , as in Wentz won’t need to throw it at all. I am completely stunned how bad it was. This was after watching the vikes go into Alt. and run it down their throats.
Eternal RamnationParticipantI guess when you’re Russel Wilson it’s okay to fumble through the endzone while stepping out of bounds. Oh well I think if the Eagles lose and we can beat them next week it’s better for the Rams in the long run. Rams could end up being the 2nd seed in that scenario .
Eternal RamnationParticipantI hope that means we see more of this.
Eternal RamnationParticipantlots of vents mixed with some sanity . I understand the frustration . I was expecting a much tougher game especially without Woods Brown and Robey-Coleman . A late game on the left coast down essentially 3 starting dbs facing the Rams is gonna be tough on anybody.
Eternal RamnationParticipantRams dominated . Gave up the sidelines but Kumara scored on a play up the middle some I’m okay with it we got the W.
Eternal RamnationParticipantYup Keenum had a game and the Cowboys vs Chargers well I can’t say I fell asleep.
Eternal RamnationParticipantHappy Turkey Day!
Eternal RamnationParticipantI’ve not seen steadier improvement in any other QB but as far as Goff goes I gotta disagree with laram here watching the Seattle game and the vikes game comparatively there has been substantial growth. Waldman’s analysis is from a wide enough angle to include what Goff is dealing with ( avoiding a safety/strip sack or int) imo looking at a still and saying this guy is open is a very narrow lens, too narrow to see any improvement.
November 21, 2017 at 3:59 am in reply to: Why the Rams offense struggles against better defenses.. #77802
Eternal RamnationParticipantNope against Seattle Kupp beat double coverage and Woods was always open Watkins as well. Goff can make tight window throws and has but they’ve been dropped or fumbled. Kupp is making a significant adjustment. In college he was the guy now he’s the rook and not the first option. When you watch say the skins game or hags game and then watch the vikes game Goff has grown a lot even in the loss. He is just deadly at the up tempo line calls now. He is still very young so we’ll see hiccups but Goff is on the way.
Eternal RamnationParticipantMcVay said it’s a shoulder
Eternal RamnationParticipantThe Vikes are tough at home and the D just looked off. That’s to be expected with 3 dbs out Hatfield needs time on the practice squad before Wade puts him on an island with Theilan . Small front 7 wore down. There was some home cooking but there was for the Rams at home too. Wade had a tough day. Kupp’s dropping fumbling is a problem. Woods left on a cart haven’t heard anything on that.
Eternal RamnationParticipantI have a vikings hoodie I bought and wore for one viking game. (I live in Minneapolis) here’s the result. Eagles beat up Bradford, hand Vikings first loss 21-10
PHILADELPHIA — Josh Huff returned a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown, Carson Wentz outplayed Sam Bradford and the Philadelphia Eagles beat Minnesota 21-10 on Sunday, handing the Vikings their first loss of the season.
The Eagles (4-2) snapped a two-game losing streak while the rested Vikings (5-1) hardly looked like an unbeaten team after having a bye.
Bradford returned to Philadelphia for the first time since his trade to Minnesota eight days before the season opener paved the way for Wentz to start. Bradford was 7-7 in his only season with the Eagles and won his first four starts for the Vikings.
But the Eagles pressured and harassed their former quarterback all game, sacked him six times, and forced his first three turnovers this season.
Eternal RamnationParticipantYou have to give him credit for the core defense Brockers , Donald , Tree , Joyner , Trujo and the Barron trade.
yeah. and i also give him credit for gurley and goff.
his main problem was holding onto guys like britt and grob and cook.
but i seem to remember vermeil having a soft spot for phillips and banks. maybe not quite the same, but in 99 they made some key changes that sparked the turnaround. i say if fisher picks the right offensive coordinator it could have been a different story. but most likely not the huge success it has been this year. i mean the rams swung for the fences on this one and may actually have hit the sweet spot.
Problem is he had Gurley, Goff and Mannion and a healthy OL and still couldn’t win. It didn’t help that he couldn’t draft somebody that could catch. Sloppy undisciplined coaching. If the coaching didn’t improve drastically the team would not have improved so drastically. Fisher got 5 full years and DV got 2. Some of that blame lands on ownership who imo was more worried with moving to L.A. than winning in fact losing probably helped pave the way for the move.
Eternal RamnationParticipantI couldn’t stand him and his hand picked team was one of the healthiest teams in the league in 2016 and he went 4 and 12. I think he’d make a good DC or DL consultant but as far as a coach he rarely got it done. You have to give him credit for the core defense Brockers , Donald , Tree , Joyner , Trujo and the Barron trade.
Eternal RamnationParticipantI think you mean 11/13 unless you’ve added a new month to the calendar Ramuary perhaps?
Eternal RamnationParticipantYeah I would stay away from pills . I use the Aluball mentioned in the article most of the time it’s easy and quicker than the traditional prep. You can find reputable vendors root powder here http://kavaforums.com/forum/ a few of them are on amazon as well.
Eternal RamnationParticipantNice having a 94 yard Red Zone but they need to start fast next week . Playing catch up to the vikes with that D is not where you want to be.
