A year or two ago, I tried to watch a CFL game. It stopped and started like the 405 because of replays. No thanks. If necessary, put an official upstairs to make instant calls on bang-bang plays.

the Chargers should make a push for former Rams DT Ndamukong Suh. Geography and timing make it work.

The injuries that NFL players sustain throughout our careers last for a lifetime. So why don’t our health benefits? Even Roger Goodell enjoys lifetime healthcare for being the @nflcommish of the game — and good for him. #RogerCare

In re to Todd Gurley’s knee, Sean McVay said, “we’re not talking about that anymore.” But he knows the question will keep coming.

The most costly penalty (or lack thereof) in terms of yardage should be reviewable. Hope they set very high bar for overturning call on field. Though it would’ve been appreciated, not sure I really want PI added via review in instances like Cooks from SB53, currently being cited.

How might the 2018 class emerge after this off-season? What contributions will Noteboom, Allen, JFM, Kiser, Obo & Kelly be capable of as 2nd-year pros?

#LARams will play the Cowboys in the 2019 preseason in Hawaii and regular season in Dallas.

Jared Goff and the Rams can negotiate an extension as the QB goes into Year 4. Sean McVay said those future contracts aren’t something they’ve really dug into, yet, this offseason.

Went with the “average” grade for the Rams in free agency. Reality, I think it was more like average-plus. But time will tell how veteran additions will produce.

McVay said the Rams “Feel pretty settled” with Todd Gurley and Malcolm Brown at running back.

I think this year is the test of whether Rams are actually building a program or not. Because if yes, then the coaching should be able to elevate the talent they’ve brought in over the last couple years via draft to fill in holes

    Gurley

I don’t know if the concern is so much that he’s done, but more that his workload needs to be dialed way back.

From a cap perspective, he’s on the team for at least the next 2 years. So not a lot that can be done there.

From a competing standpoint, they have resigned Brown and are actively and heavily scouting RBs in the draft even since Brown was signed. In fact, RB is the position they’ve scouted the most after safeties judging by private visits and workouts.

I think that’s pretty telling and shows that there is some major concern there.

If you add a David Montgomery or Devin Singletary in the draft and pair that with Gurley and Brown, you have a really strong stable of RBs and the offense should be able to keep moving right along.

At the NFL owners meetings, McVay said the Rams wanted to bring Barron back, but his market was strong.

you don’t draft a player simply because of production. It’s the traits that lead to production/or lack thereof that you are identifying.

NFL sees fewer injuries to starting quarterbacks

Last season, 16 NFL’s teams had their starting quarterback start all 16 games — an increase over 12 such teams in 2017.

A 16 year old sent me a direct message about wanting to get into the business & sent scouting samples for a website he writes for. He flew down to Senior Bowl to network & to be around it. He said he wants to be great. My kids are finding ways to sneak Fortnite.

    Funny how that works.

There’s always money for the health benefits and pensions for the people at the Top, but not the workers. I am struggling to think of an explanation for that.

Well believe it or not, in the twitter-verse, that was being debated. Hotly.

Just to put Ed Oliver’s 4.19 short-shuttle time into perspective, here’s some other notable results:

    4.18 – Antonio Brown
    4.19 – DeSean Jackson
    4.24 – Saquon Barkley
    4.24 – Le’Veon Bell
    4.25 – Julio Jones
    4.39 – Aaron Donald

    that’s just plain nuts.

probably doesn’t make it to the rams.

    plus he’s got short arms.
