I saw a documentary called “Black Fish.” Good doc. Its about corporate lying. And imprisoning mammals for profit and fun. Specifically, its about Sea Worlds treatment of Orcas. Lots of interviews with former “trainers.”

I always thot that SeaWorld trainers were highly trained scientists, but they are basically just cheerleaders who can swim.

Its a very hard film to watch if you love animals. One Orca named Tilikin eventually took matters into his own hands.

Anyway, i didnt realize that Sea World has given up on the whole “lets keep Orca’s in a swimming pool” thing. They are phasing it out due to the pressure from animal activists.

“…As Tilikum lies dying in a tank in Orlando, SeaWorld made a major announcement Thursday: After several years of pressure from activists and the public, the company will end its orca breeding and theatrical shows programs.

The company had already announced plans to end its controversial whale shows in San Diego in November 2015, in response to scrutiny from the state of California, and now SeaWorld is going a step further by phasing out its theatrical orca shows at all locations, including in Florida and Texas…

    …..
….Public scrutiny of SeaWorld’s so-called “Shamu” shows has risen in the three years since the critical documentary Blackfish was released, building on the outrage over Tilikum’s killing of trainer Dawn Brancheau in February 2010. After that, former trainers began to speak out about stress among the captive whales, bullying as a result of the close quarters, demanding schedules, and the cramped and unnatural conditions they endured.

One of my favorite scenes was with John Crowe, who appears in this vid:

Oh, and i watched the “Black Panther.” All I’m gonna say is it was full of cliches, no character did anything surprising, everything that happened could be predicted after the first five minutes of the movie — and — it was all infantile, and awful and Marvel.

Goes on my worst ten movies I’ve ever seen list.

There were a few good lines about colonialism and imperialism and racism, but even that couldnt save this from being garbage. I should just stop reviewing Marvel films. I hate them.

You didn’t get Killmonger. It was a great movie. Killmonger was angry at the king of Wakanda for killing his dad, and wanted revenge. Since Killmonger was able to win the rule based on the fight, he wanted to be the almighty all powerful. But his sister, mother, and girlfriend brought him back to life, to get his rule back.

    Wakanda forever

Maybe you would like Russian superhero movies better?
