    I am assuming that is without pay.

    Does that free up cap space, or not?

    He’s already a free agent. Apparently he learned about the suspension on the same day he was visiting the Dolphins. Now THAT is the sorta luck one only has when they are associated with the Rams…

    Well I expect Seattle fans to be confused about this.

    But, Rams fans know that McD was a goner, and that the Rams 2 starting safeties this year are Joyner and Alexander.

    McDonald is an URFA. He does not count in the Rams’ cap space.

    Right. For some reason, I was thinking of Trumaine Johnson when I read this, and I was thinking of his $16 million, and it took me a few posts before it registered with me that McDonald and Johnson are not the same person, but two entirely different people, who actually have different names to help tell them apart.
