    Watched it today. Special effects were great but kept falling asleep throughout. By far the worst of the 3 movies. There will be a fourth movie.

    The upside to being a Rams fan is heartbreak.

    Sprinkles are for winners.

    Saw it yesterday.

    Beautiful to look at. Got dizzy watching the screen on some of the flying shots. Pretty cool. Humorous. Good character chemistry.

    But yeah–oddly dull. Also the whole Spock subplot of getting the news of his older self dying just felt off and weird. They should just drop that whole thing. It felt inserted to pay tribute to Nimoy but it was unnecessary.

    Also–I like Idris Elba but he was wasted. He just looked like a villain with breathing problems and some undefinable goal.

    Not horrible for a bad summer of movies. The other two were much better.

    IMO yes. Of the 3 newest movies in the franchise.
