Coleman Shelton appears to be the clear frontrunner to replace Austin Corbett at RG this season, pulling ahead of Logan Bruss https://t.co/X1s1EmintR

August 8, 2022 at 8:02 pm #140004znModeratorRookie RB Kyren Williams has been activated off of the PUP list to participate in training camp. Im excited to see Williams play in the preseason! Very fundamentally sound RB who affected the game in many ways as a Fighting Irish ND football star pic.twitter.com/4PZcnAtESQ

And he has the signature Rams RB thing that both Henderson and Akers have. Unusual contact balance.
August 10, 2022 at 1:11 pm #140017znModeratorSean McVay tells reporters that he did receive a new contract. He added that the team will wait to announce it until the new deal for GM Les Snead is done (via @RapSheet) pic.twitter.com/d1981Z0SIJ

Troy Hill may have been closer to “home” in 2021, but he was homesick. Back in LA, Hill’s role keeps expanding in many ways on the field and in the locker room: https://t.co/CkD4Vf8LhW

I think I like him better than Akers or Henderson.
I base that on watching over 90 seconds of youtube hi-lite film.
If he turns out to be a fumbler I will disavow every word of this post.

One of the attributes of that 99 team was how ‘smooth’ and easy they made it look against all the bad teams they played. About 13 out of 16 games were against bad teams as I recall, but still, they won in such a fluid, smooth, easy way. That play is a perfect example. It was often a Big-Easy-Spectacle.
Until they played teams like the Bucs or Titans. And thats where they showed what ‘else’ that team had. Toughness or heart or whatever you wanna call it.

August 10, 2022 at 6:44 pm #140030znModeratorTutu Atwell made two big plays while mic'd up in practice this week, which is neat.
BUUUUT, what caught my attention in the video is the fact that he said he weighs 150 pounds.
He's listed as 165 on the Rams' roster 🤫 https://t.co/YsXZqwo77z

August 10, 2022 at 8:43 pm #140032InvaderRamModeratorDaniel Hardy over Terrell Lewis on the first unofficial depth charti love to hear it. i really like this guy. long. explosive. quick. and he seems to have the mental makeup but who knows?

August 11, 2022 at 6:49 pm #140044ZooeyModeratorI dunno. I mean…I dunno.
Sean McVay has loved what he’s seen from Tutu Atwell and expects him to contribute “in a big way” https://t.co/jxVvpkDh2X

August 12, 2022 at 10:32 pm #140052InvaderRamModeratorAfter initially listing Terrell Lewis as a third-string OLB, the Rams have now moved him into a co-starter spot with Justin Hollinsinteresting. i like the battle going on there. hopefully we can see these edge rushers play a little bit tomorrow.
August 12, 2022 at 11:15 pm #140054znModeratorSean McVay said the Rams didn’t run the ball well enough last season, specifically in the playoffs.
Improving in that area is a “big point of emphasis” https://t.co/fEEKAC2AUx

August 15, 2022 at 6:14 pm #140124znModeratorLance McCutcheon starred on Saturday, but his path to the 53 will be difficult.
Rams have
1. Kupp
2. Robinson
3. Van
4. TuTu
5. Skowronek
6. PowellUnless Jacob Harris is moved to TE, that's 7.
7 wide receivers is a lot on a 53-man roster and the top-6 seems like locks.

August 15, 2022 at 6:57 pm #140125ZooeyModeratorI don’t see Skowronek or Tutu as locks. I guess Powell is, and you can call him a WR if you want, but his job is to catch the ball and not trip over his own feet. He’s replaceable, and he’s only on the Rams because neither Tutu nor Skowronek could clear that bar.
Whatever. I’m going only on what I see in games, not in practice, and not on film. But if McCutcheon can return kicks…he’s already shown more as a receiver than any of those three guys, albeit just one game, a game in which the Chargers secondary looked like the Keystone Cops.

i would tend to agree. i think tutu’s spot is safe only because rodrigue said as much due to him not playing a snap in that first game. but i’d be inclined to keep him over skowronek if he can keep performing like this.
he’s got size and he’s agile (4.25 short shuttle and 6.84 3-cone). and that game he showed incredible hands and body control. i like him.
August 15, 2022 at 7:27 pm #140127InvaderRamModeratorwell skowronek didn’t play either and coaches are talking about him being that third wr game 1 with van possibly out…
it’s gonna be hard for mccutcheon to make it. maybe powell is odd man out. if atwell can be the returner.
