AgamemnonParticipantNFL moves Seahawks-Rams game to Tuesday
Posted by Josh Alper on December 17, 2021, 3:14 PM ESTThere will be a pair of games on Tuesday night this week.
Shortly after word the league’s decision to move this week’s game between Washington and the Eagles to Tuesday broke, multiple reports followed with news that the Seahawks and Rams are also moving to that night.
According to those reports, the game will kick off at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. That’s the same time that Washington and Philadelphia will be playing and there has not been word yet on television plans for the two games.
The Rams have 21 players on their COVID-19 reserve list and they’ve put 20 of them on the list in the last week. Similar outbreaks led to the shift in the Washington game and the Raiders-Browns game originally scheduled for Saturday will now be played on Monday for the same reason.
UPDATE 3:17 p.m. ET: The NFL confirmed the new schedule and announced both games will be available on FOX and Sunday Ticket.

December 17, 2021 12:56 pm PTThe list of Rams players who have tested positive for COVID-19 just keeps growing by the day.
On Friday afternoon, the Rams added four more players to the reserve/COVID-19 list, bringing the total up to 29. Tyler Higbee was among the players added Friday, which is his second time landing on COVID-19 reserve just this week.
Grant Haley, Justin Lawler and Jamil Demby were also placed on the list.
Higbee was put on COVID-19 reserve Monday, just hours before the Rams faced the Cardinals. He was then activated off the list on Tuesday after it was determined that his test was a false positive.
LA Rams Transactions:
• Placed G Jamil Demby, DB Grant Haley, TE Tyler Higbee, LB Justin Lawler on Reserve/COVID-19 list— Los Angeles Rams (@RamsNFL) December 17, 2021
The Rams now have just one tight end on the active roster: Kendall Blanton. Higbee joins Brycen Hopkins, Johnny Mundt and Jared Pinkney as the four tight ends on COVID-19 reserve.
Demby and Haley are both practice squad players, as is Lawler. So Higbee is the only player to go from the active roster to COVID-19 reserve this time around.

JackPMillerParticipantI just saw, that we play at the same time as the WFT at Eagles game. Both are 7PM. That’s Eastern standard time.
I assume, I won’t be able to see the Rams on TV, since I live in Eagles country. Ugh

znModeratorRams’ injury report. All statuses are estimations because there has been no practice. McVay has also not been available to address Aaron Donald’s knee situation as he last spoke to media on Tuesday, before an injury report was due that week, FWIW. Not perceived to be serious. pic.twitter.com/7fweeCdavl

Rams COO Kevin Demoff said the team approached the NFL on Wednesday to discuss options for the Seahawks game. Rescheduling from Sunday to Tuesday was done for safety reasons and to allow players more time to recover.Jourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodrigue
Demoff adds that people who have tested positive are “mostly asymptomatic”.Rams COO Kevin Demoff is on a call with reporters right now and he said that this outbreak has NOT been limited to players, but does not specify which members of coaching and support staff have been affected. Team has to designate players to list publicly but not coaches.
Demoff also citing “significant” number of players, families, staff who received their booster and adds they know a general lack of symptoms directly related to that. Rams had booster clinic for whoever wanted one a couple weeks ago. Believes they can get at least a few guys back
