    We are three games into the season, and therefore able to make some sweeping assessments of the #1-rated Los Angeles Rams.

    Here’s my thing. Does this look like the best team in football to you?

    I don’t know what to make of that. Middle of the pack on offense. Below the middle on defense. Of course, that’s yards which isn’t the most important measurement. On point differential, the Rams are #5, and their 3 wins are against 3 teams that made the playoffs last year.

    Okay. Wait another week, I guess.

    The way i would put it is, They are Legit Super-Bowl contenders.
    Period.

    I wont list the reasons, we all know them.

    Thing is, there are other Legit Super Bowl contenders out there, too.
    Teams just as good. Probably not better, but just as good.
    So, an injury here, a bad bounce there, and….

    Bills, Packers, Chiefs, Ravens, 49ers, Cards, Bucs….probly eight teams
    right now, right there in the top-tier.

    for what it’s worth football outsiders ranks the rams offense number one and the defense number thirteen.

    i have no idea what goes into those rankings.

    overall they rank the team third. behind carolina and cleveland…
