    Basically he works in England. He’s virtually an English comic, really. He visits the USA but tends not to get gigs here. His routine is very oriented around being an africa american in england–he draws a lot of material from that, and I suppose that doesn’t travel easily. He started out in theater. He went to the UK as a 27 year old to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, got into comedy while there, and took off from there. His stage persona is interesting. He comes off as a kind of solid, everyday guy but then you realize that’s coupled with very sharp and far-ranging intelligence.
