znModeratorThis is Goff’s best throw from Thursday. He put the ball in a window where only Woods has a chance of catching it. This throw was incomplete because Woods was unable to get his feet in-bounds. pic.twitter.com/uZ6RsQEJ0G

Goff throws a DIME to Brandin Cooks. Credit to him for making that catch, but Goff put it in there perfectly. pic.twitter.com/snI4Hpmh8P

znModeratorPutting a ball on the right shoulder of a receiver can make a big difference. Goff hits Kupp on his left shoulder away from the defender. Lots of green uniforms in the vicinity as well. pic.twitter.com/rzNaQLSCoR

znModeratorJared Goff vs. Seattle, a thread:
Great throw to Everett in stride while having pressure in his face. Great clear-out from Woods and Cooks to allow Everett to get open. pic.twitter.com/oFoDzXu2fU

znModeratorTaking a second look at last night's Colts game and I cannot emphasize enough how ridiculous this Marlon Mack run is. He makes three consecutive cuts that are absolutely gorgeous. This is instinct and patience, bc there is NO running lane initially. pic.twitter.com/446N41ZRyM

If you are a Rams fan you have to be worried that McVay might want to go home to DC.Geoff Schwartz@geoffschwartz
No you don’t.Cameron DaSilva@camdasilva
Someone please tell me one thing about the Redskins that would entice McVay to leave the Rams?SeattleRams@seattlerams_nfl
Sure, Sean, leave a team you’ve built into a contender, is moving into a start of the art facility, and gives you the freedom to do anything you want, to go work for Dan Snyder and start all over again with a dumpster fire.Andy Benoit@Andy_Benoit
Jay Gruden is one of the best offensive architects in football. He’ll have his pick of offensive coordinator jobs after this season. (And that’s not to say he doesn’t deserve consideration for head coaching job.)

Washington’s coaching staff once included Kyle Shanahan, Sean McVay and Matt LaFleuer. Now it will be looking to hire a head coach as capable as the assistants it lost.October 7, 2019 at 9:19 am in reply to: around the league (+ some college) tweets… 9/23 thru ? #106330

To be honest, the four turnovers by the offense were the issue in [the Tampa] loss. The defense wasn’t great, but that’s a tough one to pin on the defenseNick Wagoner@nwagoner
The #49ers now one of just two remaining undefeated teams (along with Patriots) after Chiefs’ loss to Indianapolis. Niners will have their chance to remain so under the lights tomorrow on #MondayNightFootball.

If you came to watch this game for Patrick Mahomes, no doubt you left with an appreciation for this #Colts O-line. That was a thing of beauty.Geoff Schwartz@geoffschwartz
The Chiefs offensive line is plenty fine when they are healthy. You don’t have a great offense with a crap OL.

I see a few questions about potential Rams improvements via trade. So let me throw two questions back. Which impact player do you suspect might be available? How many impact players have changed teams in-season in, say, the last five years?Three votes for Trent Williams, who plays a position at which the Rams don’t need an upgrade and who wants a contract extension. I’m not mocking. I’m just saying…

1hRaider fans 3-2 versus Rams fans 3-2.Vincent Bonsignore@VinnyBonsignore
Well, the difference is #Rams lost two in a row to get to 3-2 while the #Raiders won two in a row. Long season. Rams will be fine. One thing they do have in common: You can tell both teams players love playing for their head coach. Raiders fought like hell today. That was a really big win for the #Raiders. Teams turn corners on wins like that.

Starting to think the Cowboys are in trouble whenever they have to face an above-average opponent which, come to think of it, has kind of been their brand the last 20 years.

#Redskins coach Jay Gruden: “If the key works Monday I’ll keep working.”
znModeratorJ.B. Long@JB_Long
I think this is the most suprising, perplexing tidbit about the #LARams 3-2 start…Through 5 weeks, they are the only team in NFL that hasn’t scored a first quarter TD.
(Notes: CAR, HOU, PIT all did today. Rams have started all 5 games on defense. Scored 13 1Q TDs in 2018.)

Jets were highest spending team in the offseason. Would have been better off saving the money to help find a cure for mono. -
