    Whole-EE-shit.    I just assumed he would go for the money.   Geez.

    To me this is big.   Just like the Von Miller signing.

    This is a Hall of Fame player with a Hall of Fame Football-IQ

    playing LB which has been a ram weak link.

    Jeezus.

    They can just draft DBs, a Kicker, an OLineman and they are

    right in the elite-club again.

    Best part of this will be the Seahawk-fan reactions.   Omg.

    So…I hope his career ends with irrelevancy. I’m casting my vote that Matthew Stafford becomes the defining QB of the 20s.

    ==

    It was a strange year.   I still think back to those 3 games where Stafford just went totally haywire.  Remember the terrible INT in the Titan game?   I mean it was one of THE worst passes I’ve ever seen a Ram QB make.  Ever.

    But then, you also had the 4th-Quarter Stafford — who was just different, and clutch, and bold and focused and talented.

    But wtf was that awful stretch about?   And will we see it again.

    I think, its been a nice educational opportunity.

    Its allowed for a big, cranky, cacophonous conversation about violence, race, patriarchy, toxic masculinity, alopecia, etc.

    For example, i saw a vid by the ‘Brother from Another’ guys, and one of them

    tepidly supported Will Smith, but he also said he needed to learn more about the concept of toxic masculinity.  He was unfamiliar with it.  But he learned about it from a black professor who he had on the show to discuss the slap.

    What interests me WAY more than Will Smith’s slap, is the large amount of people defending it.   I call them the F-around-and-Find-out-crowd.  That seems to be their mantra.

    Reason no. 4604 why i have zero optimism for the future of the biosphere.

    I’d like to see Goff and the Lions make the playoffs this year.

    I’d also like to see Aaron Rogers and the Packers fall on

    their faces.

    So they may get nothing for Garoppolo other than cap relief. It’s a considerable amount of cap relief, but no assets from another team.

    =

    I was hoping those weasels werent gonna get two more 2nd rounders.

    Besides, I question Garoppolo’s ability to be the Face of a franchise.

    Far as I know, he doesnt even have a single sexual harassment

    case pending.

    That last hit by Nick Scott on Deebo.   One of the biggest hits in Ram History.

    Up there with the hit on Jeff George, by….um…..I forget.

    Just somethin i skimmed.

    “…Contrary to the narratives with which the Western public has been inundated, Ukrainian refugees expressed largely divergent positions on the causes and potential outcomes of the conflict. This reporter witnessed EU-zone reporters gravitating toward the far fewer refugees who held pro-Kyiv positions. Not a single foreign press crew had a Russian- or Ukrainian-speaking member in tow, making it less likely they would hear from working-class Ukrainians, who mainly spoke Ukrainian or Russian…”

    Yeah, this media ‘blue print’ stuff can be pretty silly.

    How bout copying the Tampa ‘blue print’ ?    Step one – go get the GOAT.

    Why not the EAGLES blueprint in 2018 ?

    Maybe the Broncos in 2016?   The Seahawks in 2014?   Ravens in 2013?

    I personally favor the Dolphins blue print from 1972-73.

    So many blue-prints.

    This really does just look like they think Robinson is better for either what they’re doing or what they will be doing. Height, contested catches?

    ==

    My wild-speculation is they fell in love with what OBJ could do in the red-zone, and they think Robinson can do some of that same stuff.

    Who knows, though.

    i’m even more annoyed now. but i suppose it works in terms of next year? when salaries go up?

    ==

    I think its also gotta mean, they simply think Robinson

    is a better or more dangerous WR.   Maybe in the red-zone.

    We’ll see.

    Getting Wagner would take a weird-wild stroke of luck.  (and i cant imagine they have the money to satisfy him)

    I mean, you just do not see Hall of Famers on each of the 3 levels of 1 defense very often.

    Aaron Donald,

    Bobby Wagner,

    Jalen Ramsey.

    When does that ever happen?

    Yeah, a lot of things have to go right for it to work. Most importantly you have to draft well on the second day.

    ==

    My list on team-building would include:

    1. You need an elite QB, who can make a no-look-pass, to an elite-WR,

    in the clutch, late in the 4th quarter, of the super bowl.

    This vid is probly somewhere down below, but I didnt see it.   I like what Whit said near the end about what playing those two ‘wars’ against SF meant to them, in the Super Bowl.

    yes, i remember that first pass for a pick… holding TB to 3 was huge that 1st series. Rams sacked TB 5 times that game… as good as TB’s defense was, the Rams defense was better.

    ===

    Yeah, I had forgotten that.  As great as the Buc-D was, it was the Rams D that won the sack-battle 5 to 0.

    Tampa’s weakness that year was QB.  Glaring weakness.

    Kurt threw 3 INTs.  26 of 43 for 258 yards.  1 TD.

    QB Rating: 56.2

    ==

    Sean King Rating: 34.1

    13 for 29.  163 yards.  0 TDs, 2 INTs.

    So that’s about the same as what the Rams got for Robert Woods, except for the 1st, the 2nd, and two 4ths.

    You Wood-ites, ignore the fact that RW chose to blow out

    his knee during the stretch drive.
