    I wish we had easy-to-understand sites where you can see how the injuries compared from year to year.

    Has this been one of the worst injury-years in the last twenty years?   Seems that way, but i dont trust my memory.

    I mean, Donald, Kupp, Stafford — just those three is season-blowing.

    Yeah, Big-Media loves him.  Absolutely loves him.  He’s Elvis.

    Gets the big ratings, for some reason.

     

    He’s obviously got some real football-talent.   And if you give him protection and a running game, like most talented-QBs, he will win, and he’ll mix in some big-time passes.    And in some ways he’s a fun locker-room guy.  In some ways.  Enthusiastic, childlike, etc.

     

    But he has not proved to be an  unselfish, good, Leader, over time.  And if you listen close to his interviews, you can see the hints of selfishness.  He said something about ‘showcasing his talent’ recently.   Thats not something i want my QB to think about.  Its not a team-first mentality.

    Its an NFL win, so no complaints.   Everyone looked good.

    But….man, Denver looked like they never came out of the dressing room.  I’ve never seen such lame, listless tackling.

    Game was about what i expected.   They do play hard, which is a tribute to McVay, but not an entertaining team, obviously.   Hard for me to even watch the hi lites.

     

    What does it mean, when tutu atwell is the player i most want to watch?

    Well, I expect the Rams to implode Monday Night.   Cant see a way to victory in this one.

    I’m just hoping for a decent first quarter.  Maybe the defense can do something.

    Well, I guess I’m the only one not all that surprised at what Baker did.    I’ve always thought he was good at ‘winging it.’   His problems come in as the games pile up and he has to actually lead and study, etc etc.

     

    Still, it was a game worth remembering in a season from hell.

    Can they please sit Stafford ‘now’  ?     Or are they trying to see how many body parts the old guy can injure this year.

    3 and 7.    Four losses in a row.  Last place.

     

    The Rams won the Super Bowl last year.   And I’m still happy.

    I dont know if they need to ‘rebuild’ or not.  Dunno.

    But i do know, that putting an old vet star-QB out there, in the middle of this hot-mess is a recipe for serious injury.

    And what exactly is the up side to playing Stafford?   One or two more wins…maybe.

    The down side is serious injury.

     

    I would sit him.   Its not old-school, I know, but i would sit him.

    I am not playing my veteran-star-QB, behind ‘that’ Oline with no Cooper Kupp,

    and ‘that’ assortment of skill players.

     

    I aint do’in it.

     

    Course if i were to do it, every pass play would be a 3-step drop and a 5 yard route.

    Anybody else think playing stafford is stupid?

    I know Stafford would demand to play — and I’d say No.

    This season is over.  Next season is not.  Yet.

    At the moment the playoffs in the NFC look like:

     

    Division Winners: Vikings, Eagles, Seahawks, Bucs

    Wildcards: Giants, Cowboys, 49ers.

    I got no real criticisms of McV or the coaches.

    Just looks like:

    1. massive injuries
    2. Key personnel losses: Von Miller, OBJ, Whitworth
    3. And a go-for-it-now(2021) gamble (which paid off last year.)

     

    I just dont have much of an ’emotional’ reaction to this year, because of the Ring they won last year.   That Ring just makes up for a LOT with me.   Probly be two more years before i start bitching.
