Well, I just think there is no coming back from this. Its too much. And i get that some of these guys will come back at different times, but the rhythm and timing aint gonna be there.

I saw a blurb that said 176 NFL teams have started 0-3.

Only 6 of those 176 teams have made the playoffs.

I only saw the 15 minute highlights on youtube, so, I dunno much.

Looked like the DLine got handled by the Lion Oline. Did it?

Injuries. Sigh.

I think the Lions are a top-3 team. Up there with the 49ers and Chiefs. Rams have a chance to be a very good team.

But of course, injuries could derail everything. Duh.

Let’s take a look at the Lions’ first injury report of the 2024 season.

Injured reserve, Non-Football injury list
- G Christian Mahogany (Illness, mono) — NFI list, eligible to return in Week 5
- DT Brodric Martin (knee) — injured reserve, eligible to return in Week 5
- DL John Cominsky (MCL) — injured reserve, eligible to return in Week 5
- CB Emmanuel Moseley (pec) — injured reserve, eligible to return in Week 5
Estimated no practice
- S Loren Strickland (thumb)
Not much is known about Strickland’s injury at this time beyond the fact that he was also not practicing on Tuesday. Hopefully, we will learn more later this week when coach Dan Campbell speaks with the media on Friday.

Estimated limited practice
- DT DJ Reader (quad) — Week 2 target return date, but Lions keeping the door open
- S Ifeatu Melifonwu (ankle) — status for Week 1 “unclear”
Reader has been projected to return to game action in Week 2 for a few weeks now, but on Wednesday, Campbell indicated there may be a chance the Lions prized free agent is ready to play this week.
“So, yes, there’s still a chance,” Campbell said of Reader possibly playing this week. I’ll know more probably after tomorrow than I do right now. He’s doing well. He’s doing well.”
Reader is not out of the woods yet but there are encouraging signs.

Brady is now an analyst. But he’s also applied to be a part-Owner. There’s a conflict. NFL now sez he cant talk to players, coaches, etc, as an analyst. And, he’s not allowed to criticize Refs. Weird situation for a tv analyst.
