if rams somehow lose homefield advantage and have to play seahawks on the road i worry. their defense looked good and smith-njigba really hurt them.
I saw an interview with Mike Macdonald after the Darnold meltdown-game. And he was asked about Darnold and he kinda doubled-down on letting Sam just rip the ball all over the place. Sounded a bit like Martz.
I remember thinking, if it were ME, next time Sam played the Rams, I’d reign him in a bit. Just let him manage a short, safe, passing game, and try and win the game with the defense. But Macdonald seems like he wants to attack.
Should be interesting in Seattle.

Yeah, ‘favorites’ are different from ‘best’.
Most of my favorites are from the old days. I think sometimes players make a bigger ’emotional’ impression on people when they are young.
For me, Roman, Jack Snow, and Merlin. 60s-70’s blue and white guyz.

OTOH, though, KC was not well positioned defensively to take advantage of Houstonās offensive mediocrity.
All the top favorite teams this yearāNew England, Denver, Houston, Green Bay, Seattleāhave top 10 defenses. The Rams are one of the top 6 favorites of course but are the only one of the 6 that doesnāt quite have a top 10 defense (13th in yards) but close enough since theyāre 3rd in points.
I remember being a little disappointed in the way the Rams offense and Stafford performed in the Texan game but look at Mahommes stats:
160 yards, zero TDs, 3 INTs, 19.8 rating.Granted KC’s Oline was a MASH unit, but we all know OLines dont really matter.

vwvParticipantMan, Chris Simms was not pulling any punches on the Eagles offense issue. I dont know what to think, though. He could be right. But then, how is it that Jalen Hurts has looked awesome in two Super Bowls and various playoff games. And he looked awfully good torching the Rams in the second half of that game.
Ive kinda gone back and forth on this one. If i had to speculate though, I’d say the problem is more than just Hurts is limited in some way.
