wvParticipantIs Eric Weddle, like, three feet tall? I’m just askin. He looks teeny tiny.
w
v
wvParticipantSome significant players there for sure, but there will still
be a damn good core of talent next year.
I mean, they still have Tutu.

wvParticipantRams win ‘away game’ at SoFi

wvParticipantWeddle is now on my alltime, all-couch team.

Rams defensive tackle leaders against 49ers and where the Rams got them from:
Greg Gaines – 4th round
Darious Williams – waivers
A’Shawn Robinson – FA
Nick Scott – 7th round
Troy Reeder – UDFA
Eric Weddle – couch=======
wvParticipantAccording to Pat McAfee, Mahommes qb rating:
1st half: 149.9
2nd half: 0
=====
wvParticipantThis gets interesting when RG3 (who was coached by McVay) talks about
McVay and Gruden. They ‘dont develop talent, they like older guys who can play…”
wvParticipantI saw a stat that said this is the first time Matthew Stafford has taken
the soul of a team that has no soul.

wvParticipantBengals coach:
Last week, Zac Taylor shared a story of writing “Remember when” on a whiteboard in 2019 as the team was 0-7, struggling to gain a yard and prepping for the Rams.
They’d remember how that felt.
Now? In the Super Bowl. Against the Rams.

The 49ers are just beasts.
And one would think SF will be better next year. Add a weapon or two.
NFC West.
w
v
wvParticipantAll year long I thought the Chiefs had the best team, the most
dangerous team.
I also thought the Titans would be matchup nightmare, just like the 49ers.
I also thought the Bills would be very dangerous.
So, the Rams avoid all those, and get…the Bengals?
I have no idea who they are or why they got to the
Super Bowl.
w
v
wvParticipantI’m 0 for 3 on my playoff predictions. 🙂
w

wvParticipantIf u skip to the 23:39 mark of the vid, there is a truly remarkable graphic.
The video is only 9:43 long.

The internet malfunctioned. This is the vid:
wvParticipantNow reports saying maybe he didnt retire.
Makes no difference. Rams own Brady.
w
v
wvParticipantI will always remember
his unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
w
v
wvParticipantThe people have spoken. Most fans want to see Chiefs vs Rams.
So does the NFL.
—
wvParticipantFWIW, Mike Florio thinks McVay will retire if he wins the Super Bowl this year.
—
As competitive as McVay is, that would surprise me. DV always seemed to miss it when he left after his burnouts.
I would think McVay would wanna go for the Hall of Fame
should he win that first one.
w
v
wvParticipant========
Hmmm. Not at my end.
Well, this is the title of the vid I’m talking about:
”
Broken Heart”- Marcus Spears on Div round: Rams, Chiefs IN, Bucs, Packers OUT”
wvParticipantI posted the wrong vid up there. Its this one. 23:39 mark:
wvParticipantIf u skip to the 23:39 mark of the vid, there is a truly remarkable graphic.
The Rams Defense had the highest pressure-rate in the elite 8 teams.
Now, the Titans had NINE F’ing sacks on the bengals QB. I had assumed the titans would be at the top of the graphic. But no. Its the Rams.
wvParticipantThis is funny. I have one of those little helmets.
..
wvParticipantwvParticipantIt might be my imagination but — you know that patented thing Kupp does
at the end of his receptions, when he’s almost going out of bounds or hes almost tackled — where he just sorta twirls or wheels or spins or jukes
and ‘boom’ he’s into another gear and he gets behind the defender ‘somehow’.
Well, Ive seen other WRs doing that the last two weeks. And I hadnt seen anyone else doing it before.
Maybe I’m crazy but I think Kupp changed the game a bit. I think WR’s have studies his little extra-yardage-move.

Ya know, I totally understood the SF dominance back in the days of
Montana and Young. What was it, like 18 straight or somethin.
The 49ers were clearly so much more talented back then. And they
were better-coached.
But this little 3-year thing is difficult for me to fathom.
And Stafford was supposed to make things different.
So far…not.
This is going to be epic. One way or another.

“The descent into Hell is easy”
Virgil, The AeneidwvParticipantIs Noteboom out? Cause if Noteboom is out, and Whitworth is gimpy,
its gonna be a strip-sack-fest.
w
v
wvParticipantOk, that record counts cause its only 19 games, which is still
within reach of players who played before the 17 game regular season.
wv approves the authenticity of said record.
w
v
wvParticipantThey also refered to SoFi as Levi’s Stadium South. Lotta back-slapping self-congratulations going on.
=
Well, they do have a point about Ram fans in la-la-land.
SoFi Stadium: Home of the Rams, The Chargers and The 49ers.
Forget it Jake, its LA.
w
v
wvParticipantInteresting listening to the medias collective orgasm over Josh Allen/Patrick Mahommes. Its only been going on a few months but I’m already sick of it.
Plus there’s the whole dynamic we saw after the famous Chiefs v Rams monday night game. “You need a great passing game to…blah blah blah”
Its like the Titans and 49ers approach is invisible. As per usual.
If I wasnt a Ram fan, I’d root for the 49ers just because they
have the lousiest QB.
w
v
wvParticipantI would say the 49ers did the rams a big favor by beating the Packers
in Lambeau.
I think it unlikely the Rams would have won there.
Would be nice to take the 49ers souls
in gratitude.
w
v
wvParticipantWho, if anyone, does Matthew Stafford remind you of?
We’ve seen him in 17 regular season games, and 1 home, and 1 away playoff game now. Plus, I’m sure, some hi/low lites of the Detroit years.
I keep coming back to – Favre. Only in the sense that both had big-arms,
and both seem like fierce competitors and gunslingers. I mean Favre won a Ring and got to two super bowls – but he also tossed what 6 INTs against Aeneas Williams? I could see Stafford doing all that. The Ring game, and the Meltdown games.
Just seems to me when he’s pressured he gets ‘angry’ and ‘attacks’
rather than ‘wilting’. That throw to Kupp was kinda like a F You to Suh
who was about to bury him.
So, do i ‘trust’ him? Yeah, I trust him to be like Favre. Not Brady.
And yeah, I’ll take it. But it aint always gonna be pretty.
