Is Eric Weddle, like, three feet tall?    I’m just askin.   He looks teeny tiny.

Some significant players there for sure, but there will still

be a damn good core of talent next year.

I mean, they still have Tutu.

This gets interesting when RG3 (who was coached by McVay) talks about

McVay and Gruden.  They ‘dont develop talent, they like older guys who can play…”

I saw a stat that said this is the first time Matthew Stafford has taken

the soul of a team that has no soul.

And with all that success — they still barely won.

    The 49ers are just beasts.

And one would think SF will be better next year.  Add a weapon or two.

All year long I thought the Chiefs had the best team, the most

    dangerous team.

I also thought the Titans would be matchup nightmare, just like the 49ers.

I also thought the Bills would be very dangerous.

So, the Rams avoid all those, and get…the Bengals?

I have no idea who they are or why they got to the

    Super Bowl.

If u skip to the 23:39 mark of the vid, there is a truly remarkable graphic.

The video is only 9:43 long.

    So does the NFL.

FWIW, Mike Florio thinks McVay will retire if he wins the Super Bowl this year.

As competitive as McVay is, that would surprise me.   DV always seemed to miss it when he left after his burnouts.

I would think McVay would wanna go for the Hall of Fame

should he win that first one.

The Rams Defense had the highest pressure-rate in the elite 8 teams.

Now, the Titans had NINE F’ing sacks on the bengals QB.   I had assumed the titans would be at the top of the graphic.   But no.  Its the Rams.

It might be my imagination but — you know that patented thing Kupp does

at the end of his receptions, when he’s almost going out of bounds or hes almost tackled — where he just sorta twirls or wheels or spins or jukes

and ‘boom’ he’s into another gear and he gets behind the defender ‘somehow’.

Well, Ive seen other WRs doing that the last two weeks.  And I hadnt seen anyone else doing it before.

Maybe I’m crazy but I think Kupp changed the game a bit.  I think WR’s have studies his little extra-yardage-move.

Ya know, I totally understood the SF dominance back in the days of

Montana and Young.  What was it, like 18 straight or somethin.

The 49ers were clearly so much more talented back then.  And they

    were better-coached.

But this little 3-year thing is difficult for me to fathom.

And Stafford was supposed to make things different.

    So far…not.

This is going to be epic.  One way or another.

Ok, that record counts cause its only 19 games, which is still

within reach of players who played before the 17 game regular season.

wv approves the authenticity of said record.

Interesting listening to the medias collective orgasm over Josh Allen/Patrick Mahommes.    Its only been going on a few months but I’m already sick of it.

Plus there’s the whole dynamic we saw after the famous Chiefs v Rams monday night game.  “You need a great passing game to…blah blah blah”

Its like the Titans and 49ers approach is invisible.  As per usual.

If I wasnt a Ram fan, I’d root for the 49ers just because they

    have the lousiest QB.

I would say the 49ers did the rams a big favor by beating the Packers

    in Lambeau.

I think it unlikely the Rams would have won there.

Would be nice to take the 49ers souls

    in gratitude.

Who, if anyone, does Matthew Stafford remind you of?

We’ve seen him in 17 regular season games, and 1 home, and 1 away playoff game now.   Plus, I’m sure, some hi/low lites of the Detroit years.

I keep coming back to – Favre.   Only in the sense that both had big-arms,

and both seem like fierce competitors and gunslingers.   I mean Favre won a Ring and got to two super bowls –  but he also tossed what 6 INTs against Aeneas Williams?   I could see Stafford doing all that.  The Ring game, and the Meltdown games.

Just seems to me when he’s pressured he gets ‘angry’ and ‘attacks’

rather than ‘wilting’.    That throw to Kupp was kinda like a F You to Suh

who was about to bury him.

So, do i ‘trust’ him?  Yeah, I trust him to be like Favre.  Not Brady.

And yeah, I’ll take it.   But it aint always gonna be pretty.
