Yeah, Twitter is definitely part of the system. They equate ‘far left’ and ‘Nazis’. They do that false equivalency thing, the system does so well.

I dunno if twitter can be a tool for moving the country to the left or radicalizing more mainstreamers. Kinda looks like its just another echo-chamber.

According to their research, “a majority across the groups we surveyed did not repudiate Trump-style rhetoric as obviously racist and divisive, but instead agreed with it,” they wrote in the ​New York Times.​ But, they continued,“There’s a winning message Mr. Biden and his party can deliver that resonates with most Hispanics nomatter how they conceptualize the group’s racial identity… The key is to link racism and class conflict.”Over the last half-century, Republicans have harnessed strategic racism to divide the electorate.

Too often Democrats shy away from conversations about race and keep issues of economic justice and racial justice in separate siloes. ​Data​ has consistently shown that an explicit multiracial, populist message mobilizes and persuades voters.

Republican attacks levied at Democrats this cycle based on terms like “defund the police” or “socialism”have become scapegoats for Representatives like Abigail Spanberger, Conor Lamb, and other senior Democrats. Moreover, these attacks will never go away, nor will demands for reform from social movements. The attacks are designed to stoke racial resentment, which is core to the GOP’s election strategy. In 2016 and2018, Democrats were nervous about being too closely associated with Colin Kaepernick and Black athletes kneeling during the national anthem. I hope I live long enough to see a true leftist in the White House and leftists controlling Congress, etc. etc. Who then work to change the system entirely: fully realized economic and political democracy.

Yeah, and predicting the future is impossible. There’s plenty of evidence that the nation will just continue replaying the same ole sorry ass record. Over and over and over. Frankly, there is a MOUNTAIN of evidence pointing in ‘that’ direction.
Look at the Senate. 99-1. I’ll just keep pointing it out, year after year after year. Thats a huge piece of evidence. It just cant be ignored.

And yet, there are also rumblings below the surface. Little rays of progressive light coming thru. An AOC here, a Bernie there. M4A is certainly on track to break through. I kinda think its where Marijuana-legalization was about ten years ago. But who knows.

M4A is such a game-changer though. Marijuana is just not all that important compared to M4A.

But just the fact progressives have to fight another decade to get something the rest of the world has had for ages, says a lot about the Corporotacracy.

70,000,000 Amerikans wanted Trump. Donald Trump. He came within a hair of winning a second term. Thats our country.

And Bernie could not even beat a Biden. So, here we are. Again. Groundhog Day.

There is a real progressive movement in the country. In terms of what voters want, when polled, they identify with progressive positions, too. I think its quite complicated. Lots of different political-factions and movements swirling in a vortex of American politics.

Biden/Obama/Clinton/DNC use the same formula over and over to win or sometimes lose elections. They do that because they are moderate-republicans. Thats what they are. So they just do what those people do. And its always the same formula.

The question the progressive movement asks is — Is there another formula that could actually Win? I mean win big. Nationally. Not just a small district like AOC’s etc.

I dont think we know the answer to that question.

I mean they ALLLLLLLLLLL push moderate-republican/Dem-Centrist strategies. ALLL of them.

I had to turn it off. It was physically painful to listen to it.

My god in heaven. I had forgotten what a propaganda-wasteland TV ‘news’ is.

There’s a reason we have another Biden in office now.
