No…I don’t want to endorse corporate Dems…but I sure have a strong urge to repudiate fascism…AND the wider the popular margin of victory is for Biden, the better. Especially because it’s going to be litigated unless the Republicans lose by such a margin that there is no pathway to victory, even with stacked courts. So there’s that.
I’m just in “enough of Trump” mode when it comes to the vote. I have no argument with leftists who can’t vote for the centrist Dem. But I am with Zooey when it comes to swelling the numbers of those who repudiate the orange man, and so I not only want to see the republicans lose, I would like to see a high turn-out.

So, i suppose I’ll go ahead and vote Green. If this was a swing-state, Id vote for the Imperialist-drone-murdering-Wall-Street-Loving-Corporatist.
I’m guessing there wont be an 11 hour wait in WV.

vI’m torn. I’m actually considering voting for Biden…I have every other thing filled out on my ballot. But I live in California, and Biden is going to DOUBLE Trump’s vote tally in this state.

Yeah, i ended up voting Green. I checked the latest WV polls and Biden cant even break 35 percent in WV. If this was a swing state, I’d have voted for the Imperialist-Dem. Kinda felt good, to not have to do that.
There was no line here in west, by god, virginia. Too twenty seconds to turn in my vote.

So Washington takes over. They end up in 4th and 1, go for it, and are stopped. So the Rams get the ball back at roughly the same spot they had it in the first place when they went for their 4th and 1, which was just the first of the 2 consecutive 4th and 1s in the game.

Well, i highly recommend doing Twitter as an experiment. Seriously. There’s a GAZILLION hardcore commies, socialists, anarchists, eco-socialists, eco-marxists, anarch-marxists, mao-ist-zapatista-stalinist-Bookchin-ites, Lesbian-trans-queer-Trotskyites, Vegan-Paris-Communers, AOC-hating-Commies, Bernie-loving-Socialists, Democratic-Socialist-Anti-Imperialists, NON-democratic-socialist-libertarians, Libertarian-Socialist-Pan-Africans….etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.
I kid you not.
You can ‘follow’ 5000 of em if you want. Each with their own take on politics.
Now, to me, its just worth it to spend a week or a month exploring that.
I have no idea how long I’ll stick with it, or what I’ll learn.
One of the main squabbles is as old as Leftism. Over and over and over and over they do the Reform vs Revolution dance. They dont seem to have much of a historical grasp on what they are doing. That dance has been done in the 1880s, 1890s, 1900’s, the 1910s, the 1920s, the 1930s, etc, etc, etc.
I just wish they’d understand they are just repeating the same dynamic. They dont resolve it. They just repeat it. Unknowingly.I wont stick with it, unless i can customize it somehow. But for now, I am just being wv in wonderland.

As for the leftists who are doing the things you are talking about, I’d need to see the specific tweets or posts to know what you are talking about.
When i go on twitter I see all kinds of leftists. I’m kinda trying to break them down into five or six over-simplified-categories right now. Just so i have some broad notion of ‘the internet left’. I see a shitload of young leftists who want ‘Revolution NOW!!.’ They dont think any electoral process will work. They dont defend trump. Or biden. The just see a shitstorm-country and they want a revolution now. And they tend to attack anyone who disagrees with them.
They are well-meaning, young, idiots. So, thats one category of internet-leftists.
It sounds like you are describing the Lee Camps and Jimmy Dores of the left. The ones that focus a lot on the Dems. Yes? We need a name for them. I dont mind them as much as you.

Well, I found some of those lists people post. To ‘boost’ people. So, i ‘followed’ about a thousand leftists, using those lists.
So now my twitter-feed (if thats what u call it) is indeed dizzying. I feel like I’m watching 1000 tv-shows, or walking into the middle of 1000 conversations.
I dont quite get yet, what to do with this. I havent quite decided of what use it is for ‘me.’ I see some potential, but I dunno.
I need to learn more about how i can customize the thing. Like…I’d like to have a NEWS feed. Just news. So, i can scan it in the morning. I do like the newsy-tweets. Can i have more than one twitter-feed? One for news sites, and one for just conversation-blurbs with people? Or do you just get one big feed.
I tried to direct message you, btw, and it said you cant be DM’d.
So far the coolest thing Ive found on twitter is some folks who write about labor history. There’s definitely some good stuff out there in the twitter-verse.
