InvaderRamModeratorbrees and saints offense struggling. difference is brees for the most part hasn’t made too many mistakes.
InvaderRamModeratori believe he’s done for the season.
which absolutely sucks.
InvaderRamModeratorActually I think the one with the problems at home is McVay. But that’s conjecture too.
speaking of conjecture, i think gurley’s been hurt.
and he’s been for awhile. would explain why he hasn’t been used as much lately.
InvaderRamModeratornot in panic mode yet.
goff had a poor game, but i’m not entirely surprised. i actually expected something of a setback before the season started. all a part of a young qb’s development.
i think mcvay is right when he says goff has to make better decisions. he was forcing things in the first half of the game. and then on top of that he made some wildly inaccurate throws.
he needs reps. this whole offense needs reps.
and what’s this talk of personal problems? is there something i’m missing or is this just conjecture?
anyway. this defense needs new personnel. it’s not a matter of reps. some players need to be replaced.
barron is done. they need edge rushers. i wonder if fowler is even an answer. ebukam invisible. they need to get donald some help.

InvaderRamModeratorThis team is making too many mistakes.
too many mental errors.
this team is collectively just out of it.
InvaderRamModeratorI don’t buy much of what Dickerson sells.
yeah. and he’s quite annoying.
InvaderRamModeratori don’t know if i buy that.
i do wonder with brown being hurt if he wanted to keep gurley fresh for the playoffs…
unlikely i realize.
InvaderRamModeratorBut Kupp is out for the year.
i forgot about kupp.
InvaderRamModeratori joke about it a lot but i really do think goff’s relatively small hands hurt him last night. if those fingers are a half inch longer, it makes a big difference i bet.
InvaderRamModeratorgoff looked bad. but lots of good qbs have had days like this.
just can’t figure out why mcvay chose to run the ball more unless he really did want to get goff reps in cold weather.
defense played about as well as they could given what they are. hopefully, they don’t have to play another cold weather game again this year or in the playoffs.
InvaderRamModeratoragain. great stuff.
InvaderRamModeratorWould be a good time to use Gurley heavy
that’s what i would expect.
that and the defense needs to step up.

InvaderRamModeratorjust to be contrarian one might argue that donald plays in an era where there is more passing than ever before so are those sack numbers inflated?
on the other hand he’s pretty damn good against the run too with all those tackles for losses.

InvaderRamModeratorWe’re running out of ways to praise this guy.
he’s alright.
InvaderRamModeratorHe said that directly in response to the 2 screens where Lions DL pulled up and played the screen. They were obviously coached to recognize those plays.
i seem to remember the falcons shutting down the screen game last year in the playoffs.
rams need to figure out a way to counter that.
InvaderRamModeratorok. so looked at the latest pff rankings. everett is now the 2nd highest rated tight end according to their metrics.
now i know their rankings can be fluky. still. depending on how he plays moving forward. i don’t see why they can’t use him more in 2 tight end sets or even in 3 wide receiver sets as either the lone tight end or even as an oversized wide receiver.
i’m just really hoping for the best for him.

InvaderRamModeratorI do not believe that the Chiefs had nothing to go on but what Hunt told them personally.
i don’t know whose version is correct.
but i figure two situations were in effect.
legally they had no right to obtain that video.
or they obtained the video by outside means but chose to ignore it.
either way they have plausible deniability. they can claim they couldn’t get the video or even if they did they get it they don’t actually have to fess up to that fact since there was no way of legally obtaining it.
but i find it hard to believe that they wouldn’t thoroughly do their due diligence on this incident.
i mean even if they were going to cover it up i figure they’d at least want to be prepared in the event that it did get released.
InvaderRamModeratori don’t know much about defensive line play but i gotta figure donald’s spike in sacks has to at least be partly due to suh’s presence.
InvaderRamModeratorNot legally they couldn’t.
no. not legally.
my guess is that it was a convenient excuse. they didn’t want to know.
InvaderRamModeratorThe claim was not that they did not know about it, it was that they could not obtain it.
true. but i don’t believe for a second that they could not obtain it.
InvaderRamModeratorI feel cautiously optimistic.
yeah.
InvaderRamModeratorFeel like he’s always open too…
He might be worth starting on my fantasy team…. thoughts?
i think he’s a sleeper candidate. especially with kupp out.
InvaderRamModeratorThey released Hunt because all of us now know of the existence of this video.
yeah.
i pretty much feel the same way.
InvaderRamModeratorthe guy’s got so much natural talent. i just can’t figure out why he doesn’t play more.
maybe the shoulder injury set him back too far during training camp.
all i know is there isn’t a single receiver on that rams’ offense that has everett’s skill set.
InvaderRamModeratorrandy gregory and sean payton are dumb.
vander esch and the cowboys d can tackle.
InvaderRamModeratori normally would never root for the cowboys….
InvaderRamModeratorhow much of a difference can he make?
i don’t know if we’ll even really know until the playoffs.
InvaderRamModeratorthat’s an interesting proposal.
in this scenario, hekker becomes even more powerful.
InvaderRamModeratorya mean he might be getting blackballed by the league?
…………
nahhh…
seriously though the fact that this guy can’t even get a job as a backup is just ridiculous.
InvaderRamModeratorit woulda been a different story if it was played in kansas city.
i don’t think kansas city is better.
but i also don’t think that the rams are definitively better than the chiefs either.
