InvaderRamModeratori still don’t like it.
although. he does offer intangibles. he’s a grunt. with the potential for something more i suppose.
i like everett more though. and you can only keep one i’m guessing.
InvaderRamModeratori don’t like this move. not worth it.
InvaderRamModeratormahomes is special. can’t compare the two, but goff doesn’t need to be mahomes to be successful.
InvaderRamModeratorIR, I think H was just following up on WV’s Massey joke.
wv was joking?
InvaderRamModeratorWhile I agree he has potential, He still has a ways to go to reach that exalted level.
he really only has scratched the surface. that’s what’s most exciting. just think what he’ll look like in 3 years.
and just to let you know i’m totally taking what you say with complete seriousness.
InvaderRamModeratori’m so happy.

InvaderRamModeratorgah!
InvaderRamModeratorogbo definitely flashed. i like him. could be a good rotational guy.
InvaderRamModeratorHow many snaps do you expect Todd Gurley to play this year
Vincent Bonsignore@VinnyBonsignore
Carries: from the 19 or so he was getting 15 to 16. Pass targets: from the 6 he was getting to 3How does Clay Matthews look? What could the #Rams expect from him this season?
this is a good thing. i always felt like the load needed to be lightened on gurley anyway. just wish it didn’t happen like this.
i think henderson will fill in just fine.

InvaderRamModeratorthis goes back to the argument of running qb vs pocket qb.
and this is not to bag on luck. and not to say that he was strictly a running qb. but there is the argument that running qbs are prone to injury.
makes me wonder if wentz might face similar struggles.
also makes me marvel how a guy like russell wilson has not missed a game his entire career.
InvaderRamModeratorit’s in both mcvay’s and goff’s best interests to stay together.
InvaderRamModeratori feel bad for him.

InvaderRamModeratorRams hold highest single-season grades in PFF history at two positions
what could have been. if only quinn didn’t have those injury problems. he was never the same after his back problems.
InvaderRamModeratorGaines looked real good. He had one play where he completely blew up the RB for a loss about 4-5 yards behing the LOS. Gaines had several plays where he flushed the pocket or beat his man into the backfield. Even when Gaines is doubled he has the ability to shake loose. He also can smell the run and stonewall his spot. Highly impressed with Gaines after rewatching the tape.
i like reading that.
he’s got a good chance to be a starter by the end of the season.
I also think between Obo, Durham Carraway and Patrick we are going to find a starter that will eventually replace Ebukam and provide much better pass rush off the edge. I liked Dakota Allen as well but want to see him across a bigger field of games before I crown him.
is ebu even a starter? i thought it was fowler and matthews. in any case, they might actually have some depth there.
InvaderRamModeratori trust the articles that say he ran in a zone system. i remember mcvay and snead saying similar things. i think i even remember henderson saying similar things.
that guy says that mcvay and henderson both have said that he is struggling with the rams run concepts, but i have yet to see a direct quote from either that confirms this. i see more just getting the fine details down.
InvaderRamModeratoris that another way of saying he needs to adjust to the speed of the nfl game?
InvaderRamModeratorhmmm…
well pff says he ran outside zone.
henderson’s coaches said he ran outside zone.
https://theramswire.usatoday.com/2019/05/14/nfl-rams-darrell-henderson-college-coach-fit/amp/
InvaderRamModeratori agree with much of what jeff says.
InvaderRamModeratorDick Vermeil is one of his mentors…… I can see that
yeah. i see some vermeil in him. wasn’t surprised to read that.
and i do worry that mcvay burns out with the rams.
i hope not.
InvaderRamModeratorDarrell Henderson has admitted difficulty adapting to a zone heavy Rams’ scheme after running mostly gap runs at Memphis. Zone runs rely on vision, processing & patient, controlled footwork to access whichever hole pops open. Pre-Week 1 showed DH has much work to do.
i thought he ran in a zone scheme in college?
InvaderRamModeratoreverything about rapp stands out except for the 40 time.
so hopefully he’s like an anquan boldin who also ran a 4.7 40 and dominates the league e en though he’s not a track athlete.
so far so good.
InvaderRamModeratoryeah. i wasn’t really paying attention to be honest, but the oline is definitely something to keep an eye on. some interesting prospects to keep an eye on for the future for sure.
InvaderRamModeratorgarsh. i was so distracted, and it was hard for me to concentrate on the game.
i heard rapp’s name mentioned a lot. sounds like he was making quite the impression.
that’s about it. henderson’s stats weren’t all that impressive, but he was running behind the backup oline. so looks like we’ll have to wait until week one.
InvaderRamModeratorRams OLB Dante Fowler had standout day against the Raiders in combined practice. Fowler had at least four sacks…
The rest of that:
Lindsey Thiry@LindseyThiry
…. Fowler had at least four sacks, as he and Aaron Donald kept a constant presence in the backfield. “He’s doing great,” Donald said. “Making a lot of good plays and rushing the passer great.”hmmm….
InvaderRamModeratorit seems like i’m always reading good things about fowler.
what a development that would be.
InvaderRamModerator1. i like how they’re managing gurley’s reps. obviously anything can happen, but i hope gurley has another strong 3-4 years left in him.
2. love what i’m reading about goff. sounds like he’s taking the next steps in his development.
3. kupp sounds like he’s on track. goff’s play really dropped off after he went out. it’ll be good to have him back.
InvaderRamModeratorhmmm
david long fourth string.
i was hoping to hear more positive things about him in training camp.
InvaderRamModeratori’m imagining a safety duo of jj and rapp in the near future.
