i liked that last post.

my impressions is that the oline played well. the run game was consistently good. and the passing game seemed to come down more to goff’s rust rather than a lack of protection. but it’s really hard for me to tell, so it’s nice to read reports like these and read what people saw.

losing weddle hurt the defense. they seemed to have more breakdowns after he left. hope he comes back soon. or maybe rapp can take on more responsibility.

i hope they can re-sign littleton and/or fowler.

i thought gurley was pretty good.

had some ball handling issues, but i attribute that to rust and maybe trying to do too much.

but when he got in a groove, he looked like todd. and that was against a tough defense on the road. he looked fresh. looked strong. and still has some speed. he’s just gotta stay healthy.

i hope he’s right. i still have it in the back of my head that we see some statistical regression this year.

the one thing i want to see is more consistency. he’s been good the last two years but maybe a little up and down. but he’s also only played three years. so. i’d think that’s pretty normal.

i think he was injured last year. he injured his groin, and it took him awhile to recover.

i don’t know that they give him 50 million guaranteed.

apparently, he got fined again, and a significant portion of his guarantees are now out the window. that would explain things.

well. this morning brown has asked to be released.

i really hope this guy is ok. at this point you gotta worry if he needs some kind of help.

as far as football. gruden just cut mayock’s balls off for the entire public to see. hope mike’s ok with that.

or actually i don’t really care cuz i hate the raiders.

i really am wondering at this point about brown’s mental well being. much like tre mason a couple years back.

on the other hand the raiders are looking like idiots right now if this is true. whatever the case is i’m not sure brown should be playing right now.

this is a good thing. i always felt like the load needed to be lightened on gurley anyway. just wish it didn’t happen like this.

i think henderson will fill in just fine.
