Rams were okay. You know. Not that bad. Though I wish they had a defense that could cover.

I think the Rams are back.

May be too late for this season, but we’ll see.

If they get in – who wants to face them?

Mcvay finally seems to be adjusting while returning more to the run game and Gurley.

Higbee is really improving. He is becoming a nice weapon.

Woods is simply outstanding at so many things.

The two young guys on the right side of the line are doing a great job. I think Havenstein lost his job.

Lots of defensive pressure on Wilson tonight.

    Great job. Nice win.

Still have some issues to work on, but we are getting better. If some how we can finish the season undefeated, and the Vikings can somehow lose one of their final two home games to the Packers or Bears, then we can sneak in.

Defense was fabulous the whole game.

Offense was fabulous half the game.

Glad to see more use of the play action rollout and the hand offs to wide receivers.

Young Oline keeps playing like this and we may be pretty good for a while.

Yay! The Rams won’t have a losing season.

Goff looked great behind solid blocking in the first half.

The biggest win of the year. The win over the Saints wasnt as impressive given that Breeze was knocked out and there was another bad call.

    I liked this tweet:
    “Cameron DaSilva@camdasilva
The Rams gave up 110 points to the Bucs and Ravens. In the other 11 games, they allowed 152 – or 13.8 per game…”

Great win, from a flawed team. Wouldnt surprise me if Dallas hammered them.

I watched the first half in a reverse WTF stupor at times. As in, I couldn’t believe how well the Rams played. Over and over again, I was thinking, where has this team been all year?

They played like a Super Bowl team in the first half, and not just that. They played like a Super Bowl winning team, and I thought it was Goff’s best half (perhaps) evah.

For some very odd reason, however, their second half, at least on offense, was much more in keeping with the way they’ve played this year. I have no idea why they seemed to lose what they had built in the first half. They weren’t a Super Bowl offense in half two, though their defense was from the first quarter on. Their defense played Super Bowl caliber football for 60 minutes.

If a team can muster a first half like that against Seattle, they can do so for a full game. Now, they just need a lot of help, primarily from the Vikings. If they get it, I have a feeling other teams don’t want to see the Rams in the playoffs. If they get in, that means they’re peaking at just the right time.

Also, like others, was happy to see Higbee do so well. I’ve been thinking for three years now he’s been woefully underused. He’s nearly 6’6″, strong and has excellent speed for his size, and he’s tough. Getting his chance to shine now will be very important for the Rams going forward.

    That was my thought, too.

But they are going to have to win all three games, and that includes beating the 9ers in SF.

Game 13 Seahawks … Signature win at home ..

I think we’ve all been waiting for the 2019 Rams to show up and I think they have finally … that was a costly super bowl hangover … and the playoffs will likely come down to GZ’s missed FG.

That said … I want a hungry 2020 team and it looks like we have that regardless.

    The Great

    1) No offensive TDs for the guy who had a perfect passer rating against us last time.

    2) The rookie right side holding their own against top talented players in the run game and pass game.

    3) Feeding the big dog. The stiff arm going into the end zone for TG.

    4) Goff’s decisiveness. I am guessing that they’ve changed a bit of the play designs and he’s seeing his reads more clearly, but whatever it is, I am digging it.

    5) Taylor Rapp beating Carson to the sticks and dropping him with no forward lunge on that 3rd and 2 or 3 … that’s not normal safety play. That’s instincts, technique, and trust in both. Not to get all wizardy but it’s like first year’s taking on a troll and living to tell the tale.

    6) The fake WR screens. I almost have to think that they set those up last week and gave up first downs so that they could fake them this week against a superior opponent.

    7) Higbee showing what he can do … finally. TE is long game. Some guys don’t get into it until their second contracts. It’s not a fluke if it’s back to back 100 yard games. He’s not an after thought or a check down … he’s a weapon in his own right.

    8) Woods having another 1000 yard season … is that 3 now with us?

    9) Troy Hill. I know he’s been rated highly … but he hasn’t made too many splash plays until recently. Long will have an uphill battle next year to overtake him on the depth chart.

    The Good

    10) Double digit sacks for Aaron again …

    11) Cam Howard with meaningful snaps and flashing tackles …

    12) Overall attitude on defense. Just a different mindset it looks like.

    13) Ebukam having meaningful impact.

    14) Blythe looks really more comfy at center … anyone else seeing that?

    15) Corbett turns out to be a life saving pickup.

    16) Folwer’s numbers will earn him a huge contract, I don’t know that his play matches it overall .. but his numbers alone should get us a 3rd round comp alongside Josh Reynolds.

    17) Commanding win over a playoff rival at home on prime time.

    The Bad

    18) Where was Henderson?

    19) What’s the deal with Cooks? He just a decoy deep threat now?

    20) The pick 6 let them back in the game … it was a confusing defense with a free rusher but it was still a bummer.

    21) 4th and 18 conversion? Lord.

    Thoughts about the future ..

    22) Do we keep Cooks’ # on the books?

    23) I don’t resign Brockers …

    24) I trade or cut Hav. No hard feelings I think there are teams that could use him, I just prefer Evans’ feet.

    25) I resign Ramsey long term.

    26) Littleton has to give us a tiny discount …

    27) Malcolm Brown is not as violent as he was … I am definitely drafting another bruising back.

    28) I’ll take Whit another year if he’ll stay.

Last night was the first time that I finally saw why others are excited about Troy Hill. Up to this point, I have to admit that didn’t see it.

You guyz are crazy. No way this Oline has the talent to be good enough this year.

I hate hopeful behavior in a man. I wont tolerate Hope.

I know the shock and horror of the Seahawks defeat is still fresh in your mind, so I’ll give you some leeway.

But if you don’t think decent performances by what appears to be an undermanned offensive line for two consecutive weeks doesn’t prove a team is a Super Bowl contender, well sir, then your sanity is in question.

I agree about the defense, and I partly agree about the offense in the 2nd half. Ah but, they did have that 95 yard scoring drive early in the 4th quarter, which was pretty damm clutch. I will take some struggles on offense if they then rise up and play clutch when it counts.
