    That’s most certainly true.

    But neither does Trump.

In fact, I would say that they both probably have actual disdain for the middle class and poor folks.

But this is what our great two party system has given us to choose from.

You have no proof against Trump. He works the crowd before and after his events. He enjoys it. Now we know why Hildabeast never works the crowd and skips so many appearances, well besides her ill health. She hates everyday americans.

You actually think Trump working the crowd for photo ops is proof that he cares about everyday Americans?

Not only by working the crowd but his policies too.

Stein realizes Trump is a statesman. While some here claim Trump will end the world and the human race, their chosen candidate Jill Stein disagrees with them. Crickets.

    ———
She didnt say Trump is a ‘statesman’ and i doubt she thinks that. She was talking about one particular issue — Russia/Syria. And she may be right about that, I’m not sure.
In general though, I’m not sure which of the two bozos is more likely to cause a nuclear exchange. Hard to say.

…I will add this, fwiw — ive been listening to NPR lately and they have totally lost all pretense of being ‘neutral’ about the Hillary v Trump thing. They are pretty obviously supporting Hillary now. They haven’t reached Fox-News-Level bias but they are getting close. Seems that way to me, anyway.

The liberal bias of NPR has been obvious for decades. Now the MSM has lost all pretense of objectivity. The MSM has fatally shot themselves in regards to public perception.

My second post was in response to a link to an article with Trump assault allegations women in the address with a BS intro of “Why is society so dismissive of sexual assault, our rape culture and women in general?”. Guilt by association and slander. Such hypocrisy. So I responded with truth, the inconvenient truth.

If you read the article you would see that the article wasn’t really about Trump. It used the Trump allegations to ask bigger questions like why we as a society minimize assaults on women and why do we make it so difficult for women who have been assaulted to come forward?

By the way, we have Trump on tape bragging about sexually assaulting women when he talks about kissing them and grabbing their genitals without consent. The inconvenient truth is that’s the definition of sexual assault.

Trump is also on tape bragging about how he walked into the dressing rooms at Miss America and Miss TEEN America pageants, to watch naked women and teens. He bragged about it. To Stern and others. And he bragged about committing sexual assault, serially, on the bus tape.

One thing that hasn’t been discussed in any of the conversation I’ve seen so far? If Trump didn’t commit those assaults, he lied. There are only two possibilities here:

    1. He lied about his sexual assaults.
    2. He told the truth about them.

The whole “locker room talk” thing is nonsense. He’s either a monstrous liar or a sexual predator — likely both. But just think of the kind of person, who (in his 50s or 60s) goes on the Howard Stern show and brags about his sexual exploits, says it’s okay to call his daughter a “piece of ass,” and is just fine with Stern talking about her like a sex object?

And now he’s trying to whip his fanboys into a frenzy by saying the election is rigged if he doesn’t win and everyone is out to get him — he says this as he’s trying to bully women into silence via threats of lawsuits, etc. He’s a classic coward, bully and a whiny little baby.

Trump is guilty of being a pig. Nothing more. Whereas Bill Clinton is a rapist. Hildabeast his enabler.

    Link: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/oct/13/donald-trump-assault-allegations-women-jill-harth?CMP=share_btn_tw

Perhaps the media ignoring Bill Clinton raping and sexually assaulting women while Hildabeast went about destroying those same women had something to do with it?

Or Bill Clinton getting oral sex in the Oval office from a 22 year old intern?

Or how about Obama presenting his erection to the ladies in the press corps on his campaign jet?

Or Michelle Obama inviting openly misogynist hip hop artists to the White House to perform and honor them?

To insinuate anything about Trump is the height of hypocrisy.

    —————-

Well, setting aside the Clinton/Trump thing (if thats possible) what about the points the article made. Do you agree with the writer or do you see it differently?

Not everything is about Hillary. Or Bill. Or Obama. Or Trump. Right?

My first post gave my opinion. I believe much of what she said is not exclusive to women. I then asked everyone here to get the opinion of their significant female other regarding the Kelly article.

I would be interested in a woman’s view regarding this topic. So how about asking that significant female other to comment? No swaying her opinion by editorializing or comments or looks from you to her either. Show the article “The Thing All Women Do That You Don’t Know About” to her and ask her opinion. Doesn’t matter if she is a professional or not, mother or not, wife or not. Just get her opinion. I’d say a lot of this is not dependent upon gender.

One wonders just how LaPage got elected in Maine. Looks like, in part, it was cause his opponents split the vote.

    Not in part, fully.

LePage got 37% of the vote.

    The math is easy.

Perfect illustration of the need for ranked choice voting.

How would that prevent a split vote with 3 guys running?

    From another thread…

“For example, suppose there are two similar candidates A & B, and a third opposing candidate C, with vote totals of 35% for candidate A, 25% for B and 40% for C. In a plurality voting system, candidate C may win with 40% of the votes, even though 60% of electors prefer either A or B. Alternatively, voters are pressured to choose the seemingly stronger candidate of either A or B, despite personal preference for the other, in order to help ensure the defeat of C. With IRV, the electors backing B as their first choice can rank A second, which means candidate A will win by 60% to 40% over C despite the split vote in first choices.”

Then each major party would run two candidates in the general election with one being “independent”.

Information is good. However if it is used in a campaign to deny over the counter botanical supplements to the consumer then that is bad.

No one is trying to deny anyone their woo. The article is just saying caution should be used when taking those supplements because it appears they can interfere with real medicines leading to poor outcomes for the patient.

But that is how the effort to deny begins. Look at Europe.

When Trump wins despite the entire establishment being against him I will giggle at the howls of pain from the formerly entrenched establishment, of which some deserve time in prison. Obama seems set on issuing pardons to cocaine dealers of late but a former Sec. of State might get one during the interim.

And when Trump loses despite his supporters’ failure to apprehend reality, I will not giggle at their howls of a “rigged election.”
