As usual I delay my answer. Let the people of this great nation have their say.
September 11, 2015 at 6:21 pm #30241rflParticipantNo.
By virtue of the absurd ...
September 11, 2015 at 6:24 pm #30242wvParticipantHmmmm. I dunno, but I suppose I’d have to say…no.
Mainly because Seattle is arguably the best team in the NFC
and possibly the NFL. And the Rams wont have Tre or Gurley
and the Oline probly aint quite all gelled and stuff.I expect a good showing though. I expect a close game.
But I figure the first win comes in week two.w

The upside to being a Rams fan is heartbreak.

September 11, 2015 at 7:59 pm #30246nittany ramModeratorThe Rams always play Seattle tough at home but I don’t like the prospects of their inexperienced o-line against that Seahawk defense – especially when the Rams are minus their two best backs.
The Rams defense usually takes 5 or 6 games to get up to speed and nothing about what I saw in preseason would lead me to believe that will be different this season.
Seattle 24, Rams 9.

September 11, 2015 at 8:21 pm #30249TSRFParticipantI have a bad feeling about this game. But then again, I had a good feeling about the Yankees vs. Blue Jays today, and my Yankees are losing 6-0…
September 11, 2015 at 8:23 pm #30250AgamemnonParticipantJeff Triplette Referee
St. Louis Rams 7 at Kansas City Chiefs 34 Sunday, October 26, 2014
St. Louis Rams 19 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17 Sunday, September 14, 2014
St. Louis Rams 9 at Seattle Seahawks 27 Sunday, December 29, 2013
San Francisco 49ers 35 at St. Louis Rams 11 Thursday, September 26, 2013
St. Louis Rams 13 at Seattle Seahawks 20 Sunday, December 30, 2012
San Francisco 49ers 34 at St. Louis Rams 27 Sunday, January 1, 2012
I read that Triplette is the ref. We don’t do well when he is the ref. We have won one game of the last six when he was the ref.
September 11, 2015 at 8:32 pm #30251AgamemnonParticipantSeptember 11, 2015 at 8:59 pm #30253znModeratorI think they can win it. The Rams just play Seattle tough at home, and Seattle’s just not as tough on the road.
But there are so many unknowns it is not as easy to flat predict it.
September 11, 2015 at 11:38 pm #30259PA RamParticipantI would prefer to answer this question Sunday evening when I’ll have more information available to make a prediction.
But….since some of you might call that CHEATING. I’ll take a guess.
I’ll say that I do not think the Rams will win this game.
I know, the Pats started three rookies on the offensive line against the Steelers and somehow they won the game. But the Steeler defense sort of sucks.
This will be a tough test for the Rams young line. Throw in the fact that you have an ailing Tre Mason and it doesn’t look great for finding points. I’m also not sure what to expect from new OC Cignetti—he’s also a rookie at this. If the Rams are going to score, I think they’ll need two or three explosive plays and some semi-sustainable drives that lead to field goals. So Tavon or Givens or Quick will have to bust something. I don’t see the explosive plays coming from the backfield. But they need a couple.
The defense will play tough but I am also skeptical that they will play at their best for at least a few more weeks.
There is no doubt that they will be focused on stopping Lynch. But Graham is going to cause problems. And the rush will have to chase Wilson so the secondary needs to keep their heads in the game to give the rush a chance.
I don’t think there will be any ST miracles this time.
I hope I’m wrong–dead wrong. I WANT to be dead wrong.
But since you asked.
Seahags: 20 Rams: 13

September 12, 2015 at 3:46 am #30261Eternal RamnationParticipantI predict the LA Rams will win this one.
September 12, 2015 at 6:42 am #30263InvaderRamModeratora healthy gurley and mason and i’d say yes, but since that it isn’t happening, i’ll say no.
September 12, 2015 at 8:54 am #30265canadaramParticipantI don’t think so.
I’m a big Cunningham fan. He’s a tough runner, but I don’t see how this inexperienced online can get things done against Seattle. I would expect the Hawks d-line to win their fair share of 1-on-1 matches up front. They can probably have a good day against the Rams rushing attack without crowding the box. Their secondary is still great even without Chancellor.
I don’t know what the Rams D will do. At this point the secondary has done nothing to assuage my concerns about their propensity for giving up big plays. Hopefully Donald & Brockers can take advantage of the Hawks seemingly shaky interior o-line.

Or, not, I chants.
Or, just Nada.
Nope. No. Unh unh.
I wanna believe, I wanna say yes, but I can’t. OL too new, new QB, lower tier RB’s. Plus the raucus 12th man might be a little subdued.
We’ll see. Hope I’m wrong.

September 13, 2015 at 6:31 pm #30379NERamParticipantGo ahead, and eat pie.
As for me, I will be enjoying a heaping plate of this.
And, loving it.
