This Rams team comes from a strange game where they should have beaten the crap out of the Broncos IMO so maybe they are not clicking on all cylinders when it comes to us.

Goff was 50% for 174 net yards with a pick and 5 sacks. If (and it’s a BIG if) the niners can get pressure on him, we’ve got a good chance. Gurley blasted that sorry Denver run D for over 200 yds and the Rams won by only 3 points. Tells me their offense wasn’t very efficient (like the niners vs. the Cards, when they dominated in offensive stats and still lost by double digits).

hell I feel we can beat them. of course we have to play perfect and not commit stupid turnovers. But I feel this team is turning the corner and they always play tough against the rams.

Start with the same expectation. We’re getting blown out.

Its a sound expectation because they are better and they are healthier.

Then you can be pleasantly surprised if we make it a game.

Then we can all go into rage fits when they can’t close out a close one , having completely forgotten we didn’t even expect them to compete.

Highly unlikely we win this game. Possible that Rams have a let down game and we are mad about flex and Green Bay loss.

Didn’t think this winnable game on paper but I think Rams are ripe for a loss. Now, it will take a better defensive effort and a game like the one team played against Packers and Kyle has to be aggressive down the stretch. Oh!!! run the ball late! Go 9ers GO!!!!

I would love the 49ers to be the team that puts an end to the Rams’ undefeated season. Would just about make my season at this point.

What on Gods earth can anyone feel like we have a chance. We crap the bed every game this season. I have no faith in this team this year. There are way to many negative factors against us.

I actually feel more encouraged after yesterday. Let’s get a high scoring game with lots of offense and we win. Btw, I have Goff and Gurley in fantasy.

I feel better after that GB game. We are still too wildly inconsistent though, and still have too many turnovers. Our special teams fumble gave GB 3 points. We can’t keep doing that. If we stop the turnovers, we are better than .500 and I think we could give LAR a real scare.

The lams are undefeated, but they have had a soft schedule. Many of those wins were close wins against average at best teams. They have not gone toe to toe with an elite team yet. LAC is their best win.

This could be another close game. I think we can keep it close… possess the ball on offense, no drops, turnovers. On defense stop blowing coverages, tackle someone for a change. NO Penalties. Same thing as the GB game.

We’ve played to the level of our competition every game this year so far. I don’t see that changing. Expect a high scoring game and beathard playing lights put but coming up short in the end. Another heart breaker

Barring a miracle, I just don’t see us beating the Rams. It’s possible, but we just don’t have the firepower to keep up with them.

Unless you have fantasy guys in this game it is going to be painful to watch.

Maybe if the Niners did not have a short week they could be competitive.

Hopefully our guys play ticked knowing that everyone, including most fans, have written this off as a loss. Our offense is putting up points, I hope we continue to see that trend. Brick by brick, get better every week.

I don’t understand. We have had the firepower to keep up with every team we’ve played this year. Eliminate the turnovers and we win just about every one. This is a winnable game. But if they score on their first play with a deep sideline pass into blown coverage, I might have to turn the TV off.

I liken us to the 2015 Chiefs. They also started 1-5 and then possible HOF QB Alex Smith reeled off 10 straight wins and they waltzed into the playoffs. We gotta start winning right now if we want to make the playoffs though. It would be tough if we started 1-6.

Of course we can beat the Rams in our house. I just wish I could get to Vegas and bet my farm on it. 11 Points is a Lock! We’ll win it outright.
