They blowout 3 teams like Houston, and Pittsburgh in their stadiums, and Baltimore in London, but lose to the Jets at home. I’m confused, who are they? Are they good or bad? The Jags do have a really good secondary as well. They could be tough.
October 9, 2017 at 9:48 am #75799nittany ramModeratorNot could be tough…will be tough.
Great defense, good running game. Passing game about what you’d expect with Blake Bortles at QB.
This is no gimmee.
October 9, 2017 at 9:49 am #75800InvaderRamModeratortheir defense. could it be better than seattle?
i haven’t seen much of them. actually i haven’t seen any of them, but it should be a big test for goff. i think they’re vulnerable to the run.
on defense i think fournette is starting to pick up speed. so big test for run defense. they did ok against seattle, but their running game is suspect at best. bortles should present less problems than wilson.

✅Point Differential +56
✅Turnover Differential +10
✅Sack Differential +15— Chris Wesseling (@ChrisWesseling) October 9, 2017
October 9, 2017 at 12:43 pm #75805HerzogParticipantYeah that defense scares the crap out of me. They create a lot of havoc, Mcvay better have a game plan for that.

They ran for 231 yards against Pittsburgh. Fournette had 181 yards of that.

I dunno. I was thinking more like bacon in a dumpster fire.
But we’ll see.

I see your Seahawks’ victory has emboldened you to show your face around here.
(Zooey’s face)
But please try to show a little class and 86 the sarcastic remarks about the Rams’ chances against future opponents, mkay?
October 14, 2017 at 8:34 am #76043canadaramParticipantWinning on the road is tough. This is the beginning of a crazy long road trip for the Rams. I see another low point output from the the offense. If they’re going to beat the Jaguars the Rams will need some big plays from the defense and/or special teams.

October 14, 2017 at 3:24 pm #76049znModeratorI guess it falls to me to ask the tough questions.
So. Rams victory over the Jaguars—inevitable?
Or just highly likely?
…
October 14, 2017 at 4:19 pm #76054ZooeyModeratorSmoke.
Smoke them like a sausage in a refinery fire.
I couldn’t remember. But now I do. It’s “smoke.”
That was RFL who originally wrote that, wasn’t it?

I hope they have worked on the fumbles and redzone offense
Watching the Seattle game again and the Rams are clearly better than the Seahawks.
RW is amazing he is playing with a bunch of HS guys.
Drive just before the half – Rams up 10-7
On 2nd and 3rd downs
Goff goes to Higbee pass is dropped ball would have been spotted on the Hawks 30 in Legs range
Next down Goff goes deep to Watkins… Watkins has a step on Sherman… but towards the end Watkins lets up. I think he either lost the ball in the sun or he didnt think it was close… but it was there
Again the Rams were so close to blowing the Hawks outlooking at the Watkins pass again
I had to rewind as for whatever reason they did not replay… its a good throw from Goff if Watkins tracks it its 6
Weird weird weird effort from Watkins… he had to lose that ball in the sun
Watkins had a terrible game…terrible…. his head was not in itThere is 3:06 to go in the third… the Hawks have yet to slow the Rams… they opened the half but missed the Zeurline FG and they are driving again here and are in the redzone again only to foiled by the Goff trip losing his footing and on the next play an int in a throw to Gurley
During this drive the announcers kept acting like the Rams offense was struggling. Even on this drive as the Rams marched down the field. Then Spero says the Rams with another good drive on this Seahawks defense. Even though they Just said the Rams offense was not playing well in this half.
Again to that point the Rams had the ball twice and marched into the Hawks redzone both times
Goff played much better than I gave him credit for
The Rams receivers easily had their worst day of the year EASILY.
Drops, losing passes in the air, not following through on routes… you name itI’d like to see this team make a move this year… it seems like things are breaking their way for that to happen… but you can’t make 5 trips into the redzone on the Seahawks and only come ways with 3 points. You can’t turn the ball over 5 times (at home no less) and you have to catch the winning pass with 8 seconds left when your QB fights back from a lackluster game to get you in position to win.
I want to see the Rams come out and play a clean game tomorrow if they do that and the Jags win so be it… but stop with the egregious mistakes
They prevented the Rams from scoring at least 50 on the Cowboys
They prevented them from blowing out the 49ers
They prevented the Rams from mounting a final comeback bid against the Skins
They prevented the Rams from blowing the Seahawks out of the stadium…this game shouldn’t have been closeHandle your business tomorrow and beat the Jags!!!
If the Rams play mistake free football tomorrow they will run the Jags out of that stadium. Bank It
October 14, 2017 at 7:52 pm #76062JackPMillerParticipantI’m predicting a better performance from our offense, but the game will be tight, my prediction, Rams 26-Jaguars 24

Oops.
Oh, yeah.
It MAY not have been RFL, now that I think about it….

vOctober 14, 2017 at 11:14 pm #76070October 15, 2017 at 12:34 am #76071InvaderRamModeratorright now i’m having nightmares of fournette running for 300 yards and knocking out rams defenders left and right.

I guess I should have said multiple big plays from the ST will be needed.
