Tremayne Anchrum Jr. will be out indefinitely after fracturing his fibula in yesterday's game
Terrible news for a guy who was making his first career start https://t.co/W9W5LseVDX

Hopefully Allen comes back soon and strong.

September 19, 2022 at 6:05 pm #140702znModeratorGilbert Manzano@GManzano24Sean McVay didn’t sound optimistic about CB Troy Hill (groin) playing Sunday vs. Cardinals. CB Cobie Durant’s status also in doubt because he sustained a hamstring injury #RamsSeptember 19, 2022 at 6:25 pm #140706znModeratorStu Jackson@StuJRamsIf Durant and Hill are unavailable this week, Derion Kendrick and Robert Rochell would be next men up.September 19, 2022 at 6:27 pm #140709InvaderRamModeratorAn off-season where two key members of the offensive line departed, followed by consecutive weeks of losing two offensive linemen to injury seems like it could be one of those things that you look back on when pinpointing what went wrong.

September 19, 2022 at 6:53 pm #140711znModeratorJourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodrigueAnchrum is out for the year, per McVay. Kendrick, Rochell available if BOTH Hill, Durant can’t go. McVay isn’t sure on Durant but doesn’t sound like Hill will be back this weekSeptember 20, 2022 at 4:26 pm #140731znModeratorJourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodrigueThe Rams put OL Tremayne Anchrum and CB Troy Hill on IR; Anchrum’s injury is season-ending but no official word yet on whether Hill’s is.September 21, 2022 at 10:16 pm #140750znModeratorJourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodrigueNot sounding like Van Jefferson will practice this week, per Sean McVay. Says he’s on track, week to week.September 21, 2022 at 10:25 pm #140752znModeratorRams Brothers@RamsBrothersSuch a good run of players avoiding injuries and suspensions. Bobby Brown III was the first and now Hopkins will miss 3-games due to a violation of the substance abuse policy. Jefferson (week-to-week), Allen (2-4 weeks), Anchrum (season), Hill (IR), Durant (day-to-daySeptember 22, 2022 at 7:16 pm #140760znModeratorJourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodrigueCB Troy Hill on IR, CB Cobie Durant nursing hamstring, CB David Long “limited” with groin issue. All play slot. Rams expected to sign CB Shaun Jolly, per source, and pending physical. Robert Rochell, Derion Kendrick also depth at CB. Carter, Haley on PS..OL Tremayne Anchrum on IR. AJ Jackson to play RG, can be T depth, original RG Coleman Shelton holding it down at C. Rams like Shelton wherever on the interior. LT Noteboom not limited after last week. Aboushi signed to 53, underrated. Kolone on 53, third snapper in camp..TE Brycen Hopkins suspended. Rams bring back Kendall Blanton to 53 off KC practice squad. Could elevate Harris and/or Carter from PS for special teams. Skow plays FB, 11.5 personnel in a pinch. Rams also signed C Matt Skura to PS. Brian Allen in rehab process..OLB Leonard Floyd a full go at practice after showing up on injury report last week (knee). Rams also signed Takk McKinley off Tenn practice squad, anyone with that designation on active roster for at least three games.September 23, 2022 at 3:19 pm #140770znModeratorSean McVay said David Long Jr. and Cobie Durant are both out this week against the Cardinals

September 24, 2022 at 4:37 pm #140795znModeratorLos Angeles Rams@RamsNFLLA Rams Transactions:• Reserve/Injured WR Van Jefferson
• Signed to Active Roster DB Grant Haley• Activated, from Practice Squad WR Jacob Harris• Signed to Practice Squad LB Keir Thomas.Jourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodriguePretty significant update for Rams’ WR Van Jefferson, who was characterized as “day to day” just a few weeks ago…the Rams just put him on IR (knee). I would *think* that’s a short-term designation, with an eye on a possible return after the bye week. No official word yet..I think the idea of his availability in the short term was outweighed by all the other roster spots they need to fill bc of urgent injuries to others. IR players don’t take a roster spot..Sarah Barshop@sarahbarshopThe Rams have placed WR Van Jefferson (knee) on IR. Earlier this week, Sean McVay said Jefferson was still week to week and said the receiver wasn’t dealing with a setback after the knee surgery he had during training camp..Rams put Van Jefferson on IR
.The Rams have already been without Van Jefferson for two games, but his absence will extend at least another four weeks. The team announced on Saturday that Jefferson has been placed on injured reserve. He is now forced to miss at least four games, meaning he can’t return until Week 7 at the earliest. The Rams have a bye in Week 7 so the earliest Jefferson can play is Week 8.
Additionally, the team signed Grant Haley to the active roster, promoted Jacob Harris from the practice squad for Sunday’s game and also brought back Keir Thomas on the practice squad after waiving him.
Jefferson’s placement on IR comes as a pretty big surprise after Sean McVay just said this week that he’s on track and has been making progress. The Rams clearly believed he could be back before Week 5 when the season began, otherwise they would’ve placed him on IR earlier.
Jefferson underwent two knee procedures this offseason, the second of which came in August. He has not practiced since, so even when he is healthy, he could need some time to get back up to speed.

…
Jourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodrigueStrictly hypothesis from me, but I’d imagine if a guy can be safer/more ready by the 2nd third of the season post-bye + you have urgent roster spots elsewhere to fill bc of other more recent injuries, designating them to where they don’t take a roster spot makes sense..That said, obvious variable here is unknown seriousness of injury…McVay said he had not had a setback but also he went from day to day in early Sept to week to week, to IR.).That said, obvious variable here is unknown seriousness of injury…McVay said he had not had a setback but also he went from day to day in early Sept to week to week, to IR.).Dave@DaveDjr13130If Tutu Atwell does nothing this weekend against the Cardinals time to move on..Tyler@tylerjehillsI understand these things are fluid and change quickly, but it’s also been a pattern of not knowing the true extent of an injury with the Rams. -
