I was watching GMFB and they were discussing which team is more dangerous the Cowboys or the Rams
Kyle said he thought Dak was ready and has shown it the last several weeks. He said Goff looked so shaky down the stretch against the Bears and Eagles its really sticking with him. He said he doesn’t know if Goff is ready and he knows Dak is.
I think that the Cowboys are likely going to try and take the run game away Gurley/Anderson and say have at it Goff until he shows he can hurt them

That is one dizzying chart in that it’s spinning at ridiculous rate. The two share a draft class and little else. Dak has had the same OC while Goff is on his 4th and counting. I think a chart comparing their current season would be more informative.

If the Rams win against the Cowboys this week, it will be their first win in the playoffs since Jan 8 2005Geoff Schwartz@geoffschwartz
I’d be shocked if Donald lined up against Martin at all. He’s normally over the LG in passing situations and the Cowboys weakness upfront is at LG… Jones vs Q we will see more often.January 9, 2019 at 12:04 am #96348znModeratorPackers fans: “Wow Matt LaFleur is our new coach? Wasn’t the Titans offense 27th in points, 25th in yards, 29th in passing yards, 23rd in red zone scoring and 22nd in DVOA in his only year as OC in Tennessee?”
The Packers: “Yeah. But he’s Sean McVay’s BFF.”

January 9, 2019 at 12:59 am #96354znModeratorRams Q&A: Vinny Bonsignore
The last few weeks they’ve been much more run first on first downs – and doing it successfully – to set up play-action pass.
It’s the playoffs. If you don’t have a rock at the pit of your gut going into a postseason game you don’t care enough!! Ha. That said. I really think the Rams will take care of business here.
I think the Rams catch a little break in not having to face the Bears specifically because – I think – their secondary is better than Cowboys. I also think the Seahawks, with a better offensive plan, could have exploited that part of the Cowboys. I think it’s an area the Rams can exploit – provided the Rams O-line gives Goff the necessary time.
While I don’t think the [Dallas] defense is on the Bears level – specially on the back end and on the line, it’s still a really good group and the linebackers are very good
[NFC West coaching:] Pretty darned solid as I’m a big fan of Pete, Shanahan and, obviously, McVay. That’s a pretty solid group. And I can tell you in talks I’ve had with NFL people whenever a big-time college job or, in asking them who to keep an eye on as a future NFL head coach, Kingsbury’s name always came up. If the results reflect the hype this could be a very innovative and solid coaching division.
[Rams run D:] they have to be smart because offenses can use that attention against defenses off play-action. Just have to play smart and not be overly aggressive. Whether it’s rushing the passer and getting caught upstream against the run or biting on play action

“I’m so excited about this game, I just can’t stand it.” — Jerry JonesRams announce they will continue to wear the throwback uniforms, this weekend. Which means, two of the NFL’s all-time classic uniforms will be in the primetime spotlight.

McVay said Whitworth is “feeling good” and he’ll be “ready to go.”“He’s looking like a rookie the way he’s moving around right now.”

Dallas had 14 players on its injury report today. The roster only has 53 players. Rams’ report had Gurley, Joyner and CountessIn praising Matt LaFleur, Sean McVay name-checked LaFleur’s wife and two kids. No middle names, though, so McVay is slipping. (They’re good friends. LaFleur’s kids were in the building last season and talked about “Uncle Sean.”)

Asked about the trend of NFL teams searching to hire the “next Sean McVay,” McVay responds, “It’s really the Rams’ success that we’ve had… This is a reflection of the culture that’s created by the people that are here… It’s flattering for the organization.” @usatdaynfl“He’s done an excellent job of learning from that experience. I think he’s a better player than he was a year ago… He’s better equipped to play at a higher level.” — Sean McVay on what Jared Goff learned from last year’s playoff loss.
