Cowboys offered Seahawks 2nd- and 3rd-round picks for their 1st to trade up for Paxton Lynch, per @toddarcher. Broncos' offer trumped it.

No surprise but after the Rams draft a QB tonight, Nick Foles is expected to be the player to leave. Team is hoping that’s via trade.
League source says “4 or 5” teams have reached out but will need to see how draft plays out over next couple days for deal to come together.

April 29, 2016 at 2:52 pm #42824AgamemnonParticipantNot only are Rams fielding trade offers for Nick Foles, but they'd also listen to teams interested in dealing for QB Case Keenum @nflnetwork

Rams say they have fielded trade offers for Nick Foles

ST. LOUIS, MO – DECEMBER 6: Nick Foles #5 of the St. Louis Rams is sacked in the second quarter against the Arizona Cardinals at the Edward Jones Dome on December 6, 2015 in St. Louis, Missouri. (Photo by Michael B. Thomas/Getty Images) Getty ImagesAfter trading up to the No. 1 overall pick to draft quarterback Jared Goff, the Rams are looking to unload quarterback Nick Foles.
Rams G.M. Les Snead told Shelley Smith of ESPN that “at least five” teams have reached out to inquire about acquiring Foles in a trade.
It’s hard to imagine those teams are offering much more than a seventh-round draft pick for Foles, but the Rams might be able to get something for Foles before draft weekend comes to an end. That would leave them with Case Keenum as the veteran competition for Goff.
Goff is expected to win the starting job, but Keenum told Snead he’s going to work hard to make the coaches at least consider keeping Keenum as the starter, which he was proclaimed to be before the Rams moved up for Goff.
“I’m going to make it a difficult decision for you,” Keenum said, according to Snead.
Foles won’t get that opportunity in Los Angeles, and will likely go elsewhere as a backup.

April 30, 2016 at 2:11 am #42889znModeratorJust a note. I have read where some say Foles contract is a hang up. I don’t think it is at all. He has basically a 2 year deal consisting of completely separate years. The Rams swallow the pro-rated bonus and the guaranteed roster bonus.
Year one, an acquiring team is on the books for I think 1.75 M.
In year 2, for any new team, the cap hit would be 12.25 M.
BUT there’s no cap hit at all if the new team cuts him before the 12+ M is due, and of course they could re-structure the deal to lessen the hit.
Basically in 2016 what you get is (I think) the cheapest experienced ex-starter veteran back-up in the league with Foles, if you pick him up either in a trade or because the Rams cut him.

Okay.
5th or 6th round I guess.
Or, 7th.
But probably not the 8th or 9th. That’s my prediction.
April 30, 2016 at 6:16 pm #43048AgamemnonParticipantRams coach Jeff Fisher had no update on team's efforts to move QB Nick Foles. Said there's "speculation" but nothing to add at the moment.

May 1, 2016 at 11:57 am #43199AgamemnonParticipantMay 3, 2016 at 2:27 am #43321MackeyserModeratorI’m just saying…
I have this sneaking suspicion that now that they can’t move him, they’ll watch him in preseason and like him as the 3 for a season.
Mannion’s had no development. If a rash of injuries happens, Fisher wouldn’t want to trust the season to Mannion. He’d wince, but he’d go with Foles.
I just have this feeling that Foles stays and Mannion goes because no one will trade for Foles.
I dunno. Maybe the Rams give Foles away, but I think they wanted value and teams weren’t interested. So, I think they’re going to showcase him in pre-season to drum up value.
But again, that also means less reps for Mannion. And when push comes to shove, when they have to make the roster, if Foles looked good, they very well may just stick with the cheap vet and deal Mannion and deal with finding a #3 next year.
Sports is the crucible of human virtue. The distillate remains are human vice.
May 3, 2016 at 11:25 am #43336AgamemnonParticipantNick Foles, QB, Rams
Despite his flaws, Foles is probably undervalued by the public because he’s so cheap. A team wanting to acquire Foles would have to pay only his $1.8 million base salary in a trade or the league minimum if the Rams chose to cut him. That opens up different windows. The Steelers could feasibly trade for Foles to back up the Ben Roethlisberger. The Cowboys could do the same in support of Tony Romo. Those teams just can’t afford Fitzpatrick. The Rams have zero leverage because teams know that they don’t want to keep Foles around as a third-stringer, and they’ve been unable to convince other organizations that they need to trade for the former Eagles starter to keep him off of the market. It’s most likely at this point that the Rams release Foles and he heads somewhere as an above-average backup for the minimum in 2016.
May 3, 2016 at 1:16 pm #43342PA RamParticipantI’m just not sure which team really wants Foles. He seems to be the kid without a chair when the music stops.
The Jets? They already have a mess–thank you very much. Fitzpatrick, Hackenberg, Geno Smith, Bryce Petty. Now add Foles?
The Browns? RGIII, Josh McCown, Austin Davis, Conner Shaw.
The Cowboys(for back-up) Kellen Moore, just drafted Dak Prescott. Maybe–I guess…but would they want him so bad as to give something up for him?
After last year–who sees something in Foles that makes them think he’s better than anyone they have?
The Rams are stuck here. I hope I’m surprised. Maybe someone gets hurt and a team gets desperate but they can only hold him so long before deciding between him and Mannion. And something tells me Jeff Fisher just doesn’t want to go into the facilities and see Foles around all the time after the disaster he was.
I see a release in his future.

Costly and very likely.

Unless Mannion completely blows.
