(5:35 – 1st) (Shotgun) R.Wilson pass incomplete deep middle to D.Baldwin. PENALTY on LA-E.Westbrooks, Defensive Offside, 5 yards, enforced at SEA 19 – No PlayThey stopped them right there. Westbooks screws it up.

3rd and Goal at LA 5
(14:54 – 2nd) (Shotgun) R.Wilson pass incomplete short left to J.Kearse (L.Joyner)
4th and Goal at LA 5
(14:45 – 2nd) S.Hauschka 23 yard field goal is GOOD, Center-N.Frese, Holder-J.RyanThat was 3 plays inside the 20 and then 3 plays inside the 5. On the one hand I am proud of them for keeping them to a FG but Seattle got 3 huge Rams penalties (giving them 35 yards) and that kept them Seattle in it.

ZooeyModeratorYeah, I thought we were looking at the Rams implode on that drive. And Westbrooks didn’t jump. He lined up in the neutral zone which is inexcusable.

WinnbradParticipantUntil the Rams stop being one of the most penalized teams in the league, we’re going to continue to see drives like that. Every single Sunday.
That’s one of the reasons they’re 7-9.

Fisher in the Jeff Fisher Show, ESPN podcast, talks a lot about penalties. Strangely he doesn’t mention the lining up off sides penalty. He almost makes you feel good about the Rams’ penalties. He has really good magician like verbal skills. 😉

Isiah58ParticipantFrom the replay, you cannot even see Westbrooks offsides. Without this call, the Rams Defense pitches a shutout against the Seahawks.
The blown call against Britt in the endzone was even more infuriating on the Rams drive where they had first and goal at the 4. How many times are Rams DBs flagged for ticky-tack calls, and Sherman basically spins Britt around to deny the touchdown and the Ref gives Sherman a free pass. Just a horrible call that probably cost the Rams and Gurley a TD.
