    Aubrey Pleasant was requested by the Bears to interview for the DC job, McVay confirmed. The assistant head coach and DBs coach was a key figure in developing the Rams’ young defense this season and adjusting + improving their secondary after the rough start.

    Sean McVay says he and Nick Caley have spoken recently about his candidacy for the Jets OC job but that he (McVay) has not yet received a formal interview request. Caley was a top candidate for the Pats OC job last year but had a restructured contract in LA instead.

    Sean McVay confirms that John “Stretch” Streicher is headed back to work with Mike Vrabel in New England. Laughing, he said Stretch “broke his heart” with the news. Streicher was a huge influence on McVay’s improved situational and game management this year.

    The #Panthers plan to hire #Rams assistant DL coach AC Carter as their new OLB coach, per league sources.

    Carter worked with defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero as a quality control coach with the #Broncos in 2022.

    That’s a pretty big loss for the Rams. AC Carter is often behind the scenes but has played a huge role in the development of that young DL the last two seasons. Great opportunity for Carter!

    Carter did pretty much everything in complement to Henny, Smith and Coniglio – from helping run meetings and install to helping design some of their top rush packages like “cheetah”, plus ran all the drills (and had a bunch of sweatshirts torn up by AD in the process lol)

    The Rams’ James Gladstone will be the new GM of the Jaguars, the team announces – at just 34, he has been a key architect behind their scouting, draft and talent identification process.

    Internal candidates to potentially step into Gladstone’s role likely include Jake Temme and Nicole Blake.
