Kendrick killed them. More than once.

Stafford was off all game, except for a few plays here and there.

Rams now have played 3 LOTs, 3 OCs, and 7 guards in 8 games.

Yes Kendrick major liability today.. and Stafford was rattled.

that was a playoff game, and the Rams lost……. I think that was the season.

the law of averages catching up to McVay… you can’t be perfect forever when leading games at halftime…

Kendrick is a rookie, and hopefully, he’ll get better.

This is the game, that broke our backs. Season is over, no playoffs this year. Our OLine sucks, Next year, we need to improve our OLine, maybe in the draft, add an edge, in free agency, along with a Corner.

That was atrocious. Bobby Evans was horrible. I don’t care how logical and well researched the argument is, nobody can convince me that there isn’t guy somewhere on this planet that can play better than Evans.

This loss is on the offense, no doubt. However, the soft coverage by the db’s totally frustrates me. The constant walking up into the Rams end of field is so frustrating to watch. Yet I realize that without a pass rush and guys like Kendrick and Rapp playing, the Rams would probably give up too many deep passes every gamef they played tighter coverage.  I just hate watching the drives unfold with opposing teams picking them apart using all the underneath stuff.

Anyway, this team is not fun to watch. Take my fan card away if you must, but I’m considering not watching them next week.

It may be another 20+ years,  before we get to another Super Bowl.

Me too! That fact has me a lot less uptight about this season compared to how I felt every year during the Linehan/Spagnuolo/Fisher eras. Or maybe I’m finally growing up.

when the rams couldn’t convert that third down with a minute and some change to go. i just had no confidence the rams could hold onto the lead. no pass rush. and no ability to protect the passer.  it’s just not their season.

McVay  stated there will be changes.  With the OL in shambles, why not give Perkins a shot?  He has to be more mobile that Stafford.

I know the answer; won’t happen because McVay’s ego is too big (the whole Goff / Stafford thing).

Too bad. The continuing pounding is going to take years off the limited time Stafford has left and the losing will continue.

I hope McVay proves me wrong and pulls a rabbit out of his hat.

Obviously, a tough loss. The offense is awful. Perhaps the worst it’s been since pre-GSOT days. Bad line, with, IMO, Evans being the main problem, and a much too predictable play-calling scheme. I don’t think Stafford is sharp, though he has his moments. It’s pretty much the Kupp show, and you can’t beat good teams with one guy.

On D, the soft coverage isn’t working, but the Rams don’t have the athletes to play tight. Rapp is too slow, as is Kendrick, to recover if the receiver gets past them. I just wish the Rams, especially with their late picks, drafted great athletes whenever available. Ironically, the Bucs went that route with Zyon McCollum, and Seattle with Wollen. When “freaks” are still on the board, take them. Amare Barno, out of Virginia Tech, is another. Couldn’t the Rams use a big edge rusher with sub-4.4 speed right now?

Bright spots on D, aside from the obvious? Troy Hill is playing very well. Wagner is proving to be an excellent pickup, though I’m betting most Rams fans expected that.

Anyway . . . TSRF, agree about Perkins. I think they should have been using him all along on goal-line situations, at least. RPO, etc. Give the offense a kick in the pants. Might be too tricky to work out, ego-wise. But I’d love to see it happen.
