I knew they would win. But the Rams won instead!

The upside to being a Rams fan is heartbreak.

I just wanna say that I caught the game through RedZone, the radio and the chat room.

I want to send out a HUGE thank you to Mother Nature. She gave the defense the rest it needed to survive this thing. A win is a win is a win. 2-1 feels great. This is the start of where we take the rest of the NFL by storm. Us and Mother nature–I mean.

    GO RAMS!!!!!

Thanks for starting the thread PA!

That game was nerve racking and it had some bad plays but some great plays.

Rams repeated the end of last season in reverse.

    2015:
    Tampa at Rams, Rams win
    Rams at Seattle, Rams win
    Rams at SF, loss

    2016:
    Rams at SF, loss
    Seattle at Rams, win
    Rams at Tampa, win

They own the tiebreaker and therefore are first in the division

That has to be some strange algorithm. If we can unlock it we can schedule a 16-0 season. I’ll get to work tonight with a pencil and paper–and lots of coffee.

That is weird but I’ll take it.

If the playoffs started today the Rams would be the #3 seed in the NFC.

This is the chat room while Tampa was driving with the game on the line in the last 2 minutes

This is the chat room with Winston tackled still needing a TD as time ran out.

i don’t even know what to say. i’m stunned. if someone told me the bucs had scored 32 points, i would have been disappointed. except for the fact that the rams scored 37 points!

still want to see more. but i’m happy for this week. and that’s good enough for now.

Keenum threw 2 TDs & an INT, and got an 87.7 qb rating…which, when he gets that, is good enough to win.

    Rams got 137 yards rushing.

They were 6 of 13 on third down.

They were 2-2 in the redzone.

The Arizona game looks very winnable right now.

    Dare we think it?

    3-1?!

Geeze, shades of “The Tackle” on that last drive. Kind of. sorta.

Glad for the win, would have really been bummed if they lost after going up by 11.

I absolutely hate those bs plays, where the QB is scrambling around with 3 linemen closing in, and out of sheer desperation heaves the ball into the end zone where it is caught by a receiver. Wilson does it frequently, and I hate watching that bs.

Glad they held on though. Cards #3???

yeah. cardinals looking a little vulnerable? rams just beat a team they should beat. now they go against a divisional foe who’ve given them problems.

    i’m excited.

Rams won a brutal low-scoring game,
    and now a shoot-out.

Maybe this is gonna be an opportunistic, scrappy, ornery
team that will ‘find a way’ to win. We’ll see.

I’m just looking for improvement week to week. Obviously,
the offense showed some improvement this week.

Whiplash is my reaction. Keenum looked like he was being haunted again for a little while and then he’d fight out of it. I think this game will give him a boost to the next level QB. Gurley was getting pissed at one point (beginning of 2nd half) throwing his hands up after the OL left the mlb unblocked then the next play he slammed the turf with his hand when the safety stopped him for no gain. After that the run game got a lot better. The D was doing the Jekyll/Hyde thing poor tackling and nonexistent gap integrity alternating with highlight reel strip sacks and that incredible double team int of TruJoh and Barron’s. Britt’s roller coaster of dropping easy passes and making incredible one handed grabs was on full display. There is almost too much to watch in this game. I guess the major thing that stuck with me is this team is getting comfortable playing outside on grass . Early on imo they looked a little off but after Quicks TD the whole team looked happy like they were having fun playing outside in the sun.

The play calling at times was very good. The shocker was the 3rd and 11 from the five and they try a kill shot?

    Very Un-Fisher-Like.

Anyway, the team still has a ways to go, starting with the run blocking. But I’ll take 2-1.

See, I would have taken that Kill Shot on 1st and 10 at the five. Instead, they handed to Gurley, then a screen pass on 2nd down. They both predictably got blown up because everybody knew that’s what they were going to do.

Here’s the next couple months. The only sure loss I’d say is New England. The others are all up for grabs. Could go either way.

    At Cardinals
    Bills
    At Lions
    Carolina
    At Jets
    Miami
    At Saints
    At Patriots
    Atlanta
