10 Quatloos to whoever gets all 6:

    ooga chaka

    Sharp! Distance!

Too much to carry around with you,no chance of finding a woman who
will love you in the morning and all the night time too.

Well you wore out your welcome
    With random precision,
    Rode on the steel breeze.

All I have is my love of love
    And love is not loving

All our lives we sweat and save
    Building for a shallow grave

    The machine, that we built,
would never save us’, that’s what they say

I watched ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ on tv yesterday and recognized ‘Hooked on a Feeling’ by Blue Suede. Gotta get my Walkman out of the closet…

Ha! That was the very movie I was watching when I decided to make this thread. All late 60’s early 70’s songs, just like in the movie.

Dare I say, Part 2 might be the first movie I actually go see in the theater this year (which, by the way, is almost half over). Where the fuck does the time go?

    I;ve seen #2.

Some say it’s not as good as the first.

I didn;t feel that way. I liked it.

    I liked it too.

But I didn’t think it was as good as the first one.

I saw it opening weekend at my brother’s invitation. I was pretty wary since I knew nothing about it, and even warier once I was handed 3-D glasses at the door.

I really, really liked it. I was very surprised. Thought it was very intelligent and entertaining.

So my wife and I picked up the first film last weekend and watched it. I liked the second one better myself, though I liked the first one, too. I dunno how much my exceedingly low expectations factored into my reaction to II, but I think I stand by my opinion that II was better. I think the plotlines were tighter.

I thought the first one was so bad i stopped watching the DVD
two thirds of the way through the movie.

    I blame the deep-state.

I did rewatch Pan’s Labyrinth this week, and I liked it
better this time around. I’m enjoying the director’s commentary.
He had a lot of ideas that went over my head, etc.
