wvParticipantNFC and AFC are totally wide open this year. Rams have a legit shot at a Ring. But so do about ten other teams. Gonna be interesting.

Per Sean McVay: Jordan Whittington has a sore back so he’ll have the day off but he’s making good progressPuka Nacua and Darious Williams are limited but both are expected to play

Rams WR Puka Nacua’s rib imaging came back clean, Sean McVay says. He’ll be limited in practice today but should be good to go vs. San FranciscoWyatt Miller@wymill07
Sean McVay said … Puka’s scans looked good.November 6, 2025 at 9:24 am #159125

Rams WR Puka Nacua and CB Darious Williams were full participants in practice, per injury report.November 6, 2025 at 11:30 pm #159137

No sight of Jordan Whittington (back) in the open part of Rams practice today. The receiver depth could be challenged if he’s out along with Tutu Atwell.Which would probably mean more 12- and 13-personnel.

Sean McVay said they are in good shape in terms of injuries. Puka Nacua (ribs) and Darious Williams (shoulder) will practice fully and Jordan Whittington (back) will be limited and listed as questionable for Sunday, but is trending in the right direction.November 7, 2025 at 4:45 pm #159151

#49ers QB Mac Jones will start on Sunday against the #Rams, per coach Kyle Shanahan, but Brock Purdy (turf toe) is questionable and could be active.November 7, 2025 at 11:32 pm #159155

About that last game and what some say “Shanny was able to pull off”, SF had a 20-7 lead with 6 and 1/2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, and then if not for a timely fumble brought on by a punch to the head, a missed FG, missed PAT and a dumb play call on 4th down in OT, “Shanny” wouldn’t have pulled off anything! In reality, he didn’t pull off anything. The Rams pulled off a great gift to SF.
It was close because we had a missed FG, a missed PAT and a fumble by Kyren going into the end zone to ICE THE GAME!!!! Hell, make either of the first two and we would have had a 21-20 lead or a 23-20 lead or make both and we’d have had a 24-20 lead when Kyren fumbled going into the end zone. How does any of those three events suggest Shanny is in McVay’s head? Rams players fucked up, not McVay.

ZooeyModeratorI went to San Francisco yesterday, and just got back. The flagship station of the 49ers absolutely thinks the 49ers are going to get rolled by the Rams. No question in their minds.

Who is your alltime favorite 49er?
Seriously, do you have one?
I actually liked Brodie. Partly cause he was on so many losing teams. He was never a part of the 49er glory years.

vI met Charlie Krueger when I was about 10 or 12 when he came to my home town to sign autographs. He gave me an 8×10 b&w photo and signed it to me.
After about a week, I took a pen and drew horns and fangs on him, and an arrow through his head, and scars all over his face, and laughed. Then I tore it up and threw it away.
So it’s Charlie Krueger for me.

ZooeyModeratorI’ve continued thinking about this question, and when I post the question to myself if there was ever a 49er that I actually liked, I came up with Steve young. He was signed by the LA Express of the usfl when I was living in Los angeles, and I got season tickets to the games for $99 for the season. So I always liked Steve young.

Montana and Young vs Warner and Stafford.
I hate to say it, but probly gotta give the edge to SF on that one.
There have been times i thought Young was the best ever. But then Mahommes came along.
