If Seattle can keep the game within 40 points, I think they should walk away happy.

I believe the Rams will win this game. I have the same level of certainty I had in ’99. Not that that means anything, but just a reflection of my confidence in this team.

They are just really well-balanced, and they are league leaders in just about everything. Seattle has a tough defense, but you what? So do the Rams. And I admit some of that high defensive rating is based on a lot of games with Quentin Lake, and they are now without him. In any event, the Rams offense is considerably more convincing than the Seahawks’ offense. The Rams are better. They have a better run game, a better OL, a better QB, and better receivers.

I expect a tough game, and I expect Smith-Njigba to make me cuss a couple of times. And although the Rams have put up 30+ points in 7 of their last 8 games, I don’t think they will do that tonight. If they do, they will be blowing the doors off of Seattle.

But I expect them to win. The Rams have come through under pressure again and again this year, and their only losses were because they shit the bed, basically. They’re just not going to do that tonight.

I think Seattle at home is a beast.

When they played in LA, Stafford had a 53 percent completion rate. 15 for 28.
Threw for 130 yards. That’s ten more yards than Philip Rivers threw for last week.

This is a lot like Darnold’s big game last year. The Vikings were 14-2. The Lions were 15-1. Whoever won, was going to get the bye and no.1 seed. The loser would drop down to road-hell through the playoffs. Of course Darnold melted down.

But that game was in Detroit.

I think Seattle and the Rams are 1A and 1B. I think they are equal. Seattle has a great D. Rams have a great O. If it were in LA, I’d pick LA. In Seattle, I think it will be Seattle.

Seattle has a great D. Rams have a great O.

And Seattle has a Meh offense, and the Rams have a very good D. A #1 D by PFF’s measurements. So…great. According to some statisticians.

My eyeballs say the Rams’ D ISN’T great.

But statistics say that they are getting it done better than anybody else. And that’s something. I’m not sure what. But it’s something.

    Also.

I’d play Adams only in the Red Zone.

    3 plays. 4 plays.

    But I’d play him.
