Per Sean McVay: Darious Williams has a shoulder issue that he suffered in the second half against the Jaguars.

It’s unknown if he’ll play this week but the expectation is that he should be back next week at the latest.

Darious Williams suffered a shoulder and lat strain. He spent the bye rehabbing, but it’s unclear if he can play this week vs. the Saints.

So, we could see some Roger McCreary action early. Williams has played at least 60% of the snaps in each game without Ahkello Witherspoon.

The Rams placed Tutu Atwell on injured reserve. Tough loss in some ways that are hard to see, but he’s key to their spacing and efficient when he gets the ball.

We’ll get some clarity on this come Wednesday.

    Facing a back-up, rookie QB, for a 1-win team.

    I don’t like it.

Well…at least I get to see the Vikings and Lions!!! 😃

Kidding. I have direct tv, which uses an app enabling subscribers to “see” the game telepathically. Though you have to be careful about accidently picking up games from the minds of Brazilian soccer fans.

    =============================
    Tyler Shough (‘shuck’)
    Scouting Report: Summary
The tape shows a quarterback who thrives in structured passing attacks featuring heavy play-action usage. When Shough can plant that back foot and drive through his throws off play-action, he generates impressive velocity to all levels of the field. That play-action prowess combined with his ability to layer passes between zones makes him an ideal fit in systems like San Francisco or Los Angeles that emphasize rhythmic timing throws and vertical shots off run action.

His Senior Bowl performance reinforced what shows up on Louisville film – this is a physically gifted passer who can make every throw in the playbook when his mechanics are right. The arm talent pops whether he’s driving comebacks from the opposite hash or dropping deep balls in the bucket. While the age and medical history are legitimate concerns, several games from 2024 (Miami, Clemson, Virginia) showcase a QB ready to compete for a starting role sooner rather than later. The flashes of brilliance throwing on the move and improvising outside structure hint at a higher ceiling than his current draft buzz suggests.

After studying his full body of work, I’m convinced Shough will outperform his eventual draft position. The combination of size, arm strength, and experience in multiple pro-style concepts provides immediate NFL backup value with clear starter upside. He needs an established offensive system that can refine his mechanics and help him process faster under pressure. But in the right situation with proper development time, Shough has the tools to develop into a quality NFL starter by year two. The tape shows a more talented player than his current Day 2/3 projection indicates.

Puka Nacua looked sharp in the limited time we were out there to watch, with no present issues making cuts on the ankle he hurt a couple weeks ago.

He’ll be listed as limited today, but he was pretty full-go in individuals.

Sean McVay said CB Darious Williams (shoulder) will be doubtful for Sunday’s game vs Saints

Though Williams is doubtful this week, McVay said he expects him to be ready for next week’s game at 49ers

Darious Williams will be doubtful with a shoulder injury for Sunday. Everyone else on the 53-ma roster will be available, including new CB Roger McCreary.

    from https://theramswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/rams/2025/11/01/rams-elevate-ronnie-rivers-aj-green-saints/87037610007/?taid=69065b108894f7000178b504&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter

Rams decided to use both of their practice squad elevations for the week, calling up running back Ronnie Rivers and defensive back A.J. Green.

Rivers, 26, has been with the Rams since 2022 and has rushed for 249 yards on 4.0 per attempt and caught 15 passes for 85 yards. This is Rivers’ second elevation of three allowed this season. He played 10 total snaps against the Jaguars in London, but only got one on offense.

Green, 27, joined the Rams last year after four years with the Cleveland Browns and a short stint with the Minnesota Vikings. He’s appeared in just one game for the Rams so far, playing four special teams snaps against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6. With Ahkello Witherspoon still on injured reserve, and Darious Williams doubtful for Sunday, Green may get more opportunities.
