Bills use a nickel defense most of the time — even on 1st and 10 — they don’t use stacked boxes hardly at all.

So, Rams in 11 personnel will mean for sure Bills in nickel

That is the kind of team to run on … Rams have to do it On pass downs, Bills don’t blitz a lot

Bills rely on 4 guys to rush … so while Stafford is good v blitzes, it is still better to not have to get hit a lot — so pass protection comes down to execution, not scheming for wild blitzes.

Rams have to play A game but they can compete vs Bills

    Bills lead series 9-5

Bills won last three. 31-10. And 35-32. And 30-19.

I remember a game from 1970. Rams won 19-0. Willie Ellison had 90 yards on 16 carries.
Jack Snow had a 70 yard catch.
OJ Simpson 24 yards on 14 carries.

i got this marked as a loss. probably not a very controversial opinion.

but the rest of the games the rams should be able to win.

    Yeah, sounds right.

Funny thing. I’d rather they win this game, and lose one of the others that they SHOULD win, then lose this game, and win all the others. I’d like to see them play well against one of the Tier 1 teams.

Seems to me that the Rams’ ceiling is just pretty low. Nothing we’ve seen this season would make me think they have a chance to make the NFC Championship game. The Divisional Round looks like the highest possible ceiling.

if they manage to win this game, my expectations will be going through the roof.

i’ve been up and down on this team the whole season. a win against the bills would validate my belief in the talent this organization has been building.

yes. a win against a championship caliber team would be a statement for sure.
