The Jaguars listed Travon Walker as full, Robert Hainsey as limited

The Jaguars posted their initial injury report for Week 7. To nobody’s surprise, linebacker Devin Lloyd and tight end Quintin Morris won’t be available. Before the team flew to London, both of them had been ruled out.

Ventrell Miller, a third-round pick in 2023, will fill in for Lloyd. On the other hand, there’s a strong chance that Jacksonville will promote tight end Jordan Atkins to the active roster via standard elevation after signing him before making the trip. If he suits up, he’ll be behind Johnny Mundt and Hunter Long on the depth chart.

For the moment, though, Lloyd and Morris are the only players who won’t suit up. Center Robert Hainsey got the limited designation while he recovers from a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 5. Rookie Jonah Monheim stepped in his place and got the starting nod against the Seattle Seahawks.

If Hainsey isn’t good to go, Monheim will make his second start in a row. It’s important to note that the Jaguars gave up seven sacks and 33 total pressures in the loss to Seattle. However, Monheim only allowed one pressure. Based on his promising outing, it’s possible that the coaching staff may not be in a hurry to get Hainsey back on the field in Week 7.

Apart from Hainsey, safety Eric Murray (neck) and wide receiver Dyami Brown (wide receiver) were limited in practice. Then again, they’ve previously popped up on the injury report but still played, so both of them should be good to go against the Rams.

The biggest news from the injury report, though, is probably that Travon Walker was a full participant in practice. The former Georgia Bulldog is dealing with a wrist injury. He underwent surgery before Week 5 and missed a game. Walker returned for the Seahawks game but was on a snap count. Having more time to recover, he could have a bigger role against the Rams.

The Jaguars should be thrilled that Travon Walker has no restrictions. Having him around will increase the odds of rattling Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford. However, the biggest question mark ahead of the game is the offensive line. It may not matter if Robert Hainsey doesn’t suit up, as Jonah Monheim could fill in for him. However, the rest of the group must fare much better after their underwhelming outing in Week 6.

Trevor Lawrence was routinely pressured against the Seahawks, and the Jags couldn’t get the running game going. What’s surprising is that the Jacksonville offensive line was among the best in the NFL early in the season, but somewhere along the way, the unit suffered a steep dropoff. They must buck the trend.
