Ha. Seattle aint so tough. Other teams have scored 40 or more on the Rams this year. Seattle couldn’t even crack 30.

I have had it. I will not watch another Rams game for several days.

The Rams just don’t have the winning culture to seize the moment to make a play when given the chance.

    I guess Fassel won’t be a candidate.

    I hope Goff is ok

About what I expected. Thought the OL sucked bad dropped passes stupid penalties and that ref sucked as well. Horrible tackling . This team is comfortable losing and it’s getting worse.

    Ugh.

    What can I say?

Okay–first of all…Goff. He had some UGLY throws tonight. Not a great game. He also needs to gain some weight. Thank God Cam Chancellor didn’t pound him or they’d still be looking for his head). His awareness was a little suspect in spots tonight but the line did him no favors. And that brings me to…

The Offensive(and I do mean “Offensive”) line. Just awful. Barnes sucked. Havenstein sucked. Robinson sucked. Maybe they should all be matadors. I seriously wonder if it is worth keeping any of them. I know they need to upgrade but there isn’t enough money in FA or not enough draft picks to fix this right away. Other than maybe Saffold, I’m not sure who is really worth keeping. And he gets hurt a lot.

Gurley. He doesn’t look particularly fast this year. He doesn’t look strong. He doesn’t look good. He runs up the blockers back because it doesn’t seem he has the quickness to make a cut to daylight. On one play tonight when he had a clear hole and went to make the cut he was so slow doing it that the defender quickly met him. I have real questions about him.

The receivers? The no hands bunch. Terrible. Britt was half decent but that was it. Mike Thomas HAS to make that TD catch. Tavon? Tavon will never be more than a gadget player and an inconsistent one at that. He’s got this silly high step thing going this year that only slows him down. They need a better pure receiver. Yes–he has his uses. But they need better at the WR position.

It’s pretty much a complete rebuild on offense, to me. Maybe Goff will work. Maybe. They really NEED him to work out.

Maybe Gurley can come back better next year. Maybe.

I have no real hope that Robinson will ever be a stud LT. Or even a reliable one. The other guys are just guys. Nothing special.

On defense, I don’t blame them. It has to be tough playing when you have no offense and you’re down to your 4th CB. They need depth for sure in the secondary and even a starting safety.

The linebackers? Okay–I guess. It’s really Ogeltree and Barron. Barron was quiet tonight, I thought.

The point is that this team needs more than a band-aid here and there. This IS going to have to be a rebuild. I think it has to start with the receivers and o-line. If they want to have any chance of developing Goff and that investment they HAVE to give him better protection and more reliable hands to throw the ball to. Or he’s done. That needs to be fixed–fast.

Yes–there will be a new offensive scheme–new coaches and that will help–I hope. How could it be worse? But I do think it will also take some new players. Maybe a lot.

I’d like to see Goff finish strong–if he can play the last two games. That’s all I got this year.

Yes–I don’t get how the heck they coach tackling but it must be to just dive at the opponent’s knees. Terrible.

Yup Jordan had the angle on that big TE but decided to try and hit him down with his back, bring back Roberson at least he could cover. This bunch needs a brain transplant.

Didn’t see the whole game, only watched the 2nd half.
Loved the Blue & Whites, the gold stripe on the jerseys messed it up. Gotta be all Blue & White…
Score was close when I started watching, then SOSAR took over.
I’m not even sure why they even hand off to Gurley anymore. Waste of a freakin down.
At first, I wanted revenge after Sherman’s hit on Goff, but it was a legal hit. Goff needs to develop better awareness of where he is, at all times. He easily could had stepped out of bounds, and not taken that hit. Not sure what he was thinking, slowing up like that, no slide, no effort to get out of bounds. You gotta learn to protect yourself. There’s a good reason the good ones play many years without a lot of injuries.

My guess is Goff was trying to get knocked out.

Like the rest of us, he just wants the nightmare to end.

Awesome helmets though, huh? I hope the new unis are blue and white.

Michael Thomas dropped an easy catch that would of carried him to the end zone.

Goff threw short to an open WR.

Fassel should of went for a field goal, instead of going on 4th down.

Britt Hager was screwed out of an Int.

I didn’t have an issue with the Sherman hit on Goff. Goff needs to learn to step out of bounds.

Seattle tried to run up the score, when they did the fake punt.

Seattle beat the Rams at the most important aspect of the game…they won the decisive battle of the red flags. Once they had that in the bag, the game was all but over.

Goff tossed a couple of nice passes and a lot of ugly ones. Not convinced either way on him, still way too early to make a call but I would like to start to see a lot of good throws and a few ugly ones.

Seattle out special teamed the special teams head coach. Cooper is not a good kick off returner and they made a huge gaff assuming Seattle was gonna play it straight on the fake punt.

Grob is lost if the D throws a stunt at him

Havenstein has trouble on the outside speed rushers…looks like slow stiff feet…I had to check his jersey name to ensure it didn’t say Frankenstein.

    OMG, that made me laugh.

Beautiful helmets. Brought me all the way back to to the late 60’s, when I first started watching these guys. I’m a purist, though. It’s gotta be just blue and white; I dont wanna see any funky splashes of color thrown in there.

i think goff’s competitiveness got the best of him. i liked that he wants it, but yeah, he’s gotta have awareness.

i liked a lot of his throws. some beauties. still inaccurate at times. my friend texted me that he looked off balance on that throw. i think he’s pressing, and he’s probably a little overwhelmed or frustrated. i’m slightly encouraged, but they have to improve this oline. they have to fix the running game, and they gotta get him some receivers who can catch. or he’s going to go the way of david carr instead of derek carr.

donald was back to his disruptive ways, although those penalties at the end made me cringe. he needs help. he needs some edge rushers to take pressure off him.
