I know it may be difficult, but if the Chiefs win tonight, it would be hard press to pass on Andy Reid, since his team is undefeated. Also, Doug Pederson of the Eagles, defeated Washington, the only team we lost to, but their is a chance though. I doubt anyone expected us to be 3-1, and in first place in the NFC West. Crossing my fingers though.

The Rams split two games against the Seattle Seahawks last season, winning a close one at the Coliseum and losing in a rout at CenturyLink Field.
The common thread: The Rams did not score a touchdown in either game.
They defeated the Seahawks 9-3 with three Greg Zuerlein field goals, who also provided the Rams’ only points in a 24-3 defeat.
The hiring of offense-minded Sean McVay as head coach last January practically ensured increased production for a team that featured the NFL’s worst offense the last two seasons, but few would have predicted the Rams would be the NFL’s highest-scoring team.
With 142 points in four games, that’s where the Rams sit heading into Sunday’s game against the Seahawks at the Coliseum.
“To the players’ credit,” McVay said, “they’ve made a handful of plays.”
It’s more than that, of course.
The offensive scheme is better, second-year quarterback Jared Goff is developing with the aid of an improved line and receiving corps, and McVay’s play-calling has for the most part been good.
The Rams are averaging 35.5 points, more than three points better than the second-ranked New England Patriots, the defending Super Bowl champions.
Zuerlein is the NFL’s top scorer with 56 points. Running back Todd Gurley is second with 42.
But as the Rams embark on a four-game stretch that includes three road games after they play the Seahawks, the offense must start reaching the end zone more often.
The Rams scored only two touchdowns in a 35-30 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Zuerlein provided the rest with a team-record seven field goals and two extra points.
“Still a lot of things — a lot of things — we can do better, especially offensively with finishing off those drives for touchdowns,” Goff said after the game, in which he threw for 255 yards and two touchdowns.
Quipped McVay a day later: “I’d like to have a couple more PATs.”
The Seahawks improved to 2-2 with a 46-18 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night. They are giving up 19.2 points a game, which ranks 10th in the NFL. The Rams are giving up 26.2 points per game, which ranks 28th.
Defensive players credited the offense for its performance through the first quarter of the season.
“I have been with the Rams six years,” corner-back Trumaine Johnson said. “Our offense hasn’t been there. But they are being consistent. They really are.”
The Rams’ defense stepped up in the second half against the Cowboys, and the offense scored 19 points to overcome a 24-16 halftime deficit.
“When they are out there doing what they are doing, giving us a breather, and keep putting points on the board, that’s when we walk out there and keep giving them the ball,” defensive lineman Aaron Donald said.
Etc.
As they did in last season’s victory over the Seahawks, the Rams will wear royal blue and yellow throwback uniforms on Sunday at the Coliseum. They also will wear the ensemble Dec. 31 against the San Francisco 49ers. … The Rams were off Tuesday and resume practice Wednesday.

Cris Carter says that Sean McVay is Coach of the Year so far
When Sean McVay was hired by the Rams as the youngest head coach in the NFL, tasked with turning around the dumpster fire that Jeff Fisher had left in his wake, the best case scenario was that a fresh football mind could help to rebuild the team in short order.
However, no one expected that he’d do it this fast. Football Outsiders ranked the 2016 Rams offense as the fourth-worst in the last 30 NFL seasons, and Jared Goff had the fifth-worst season by a quarterback in their database, even taking into account that he started in just seven games.
Jared Goff has 3rd best passer rating through first 4 games in Rams history
Yet four games into this season, they’re the most prolific scoring offense in the league – averaging 35.5 points per game. And Cris Carter is one of the many people who are crediting the 31-year-old McVay with the team’s insane turnaround.“Enough with Dallas, Sean McVay is the coach of the year. What a tremendous job taking a chance & turning around a franchise"—@criscarter80 pic.twitter.com/gPs4Vfs4Rc

Carter:
“The Rams are really good. Sean McVay right now is the coach of the year,” said Carter. “When you take a franchise quarterback in Jared Goff, that people are saying ‘he’s a bust,’ you turn around his career. Todd Gurley, who couldn’t run the football after having a phenomenal rookie season – and he’s back to being an elite player in the NFL…
“We would be really doing a disservice to the Rams if we didn’t talk about Sean McVay… What a tremendous job taking a chance and turning around a franchise.”
Obviously McVay isn’t doing this all on his own, and as an organization, the Rams did a very good job bringing in new players to help Goff and Gurley elevate themselves to the next level – including Andrew Whitworth, Robert Woods, Sammy Watkins and rookie draft pick, Cooper Kupp.
The presence of Wade Phillips as the defensive coordinator has also been invaluable not just because of his legendary coaching prowess, but also because he’s a respected leader and mentor for both players and staff.
Still, it’s McVay who puts the headset on every Sunday and has to make the tough calls. The Rams were down eight points on the road at halftime on Sunday and rallied back in the second half, scoring 19 unanswered points. That’s coaching, plain and simple – and if the Rams continue this way for the rest of the season, he’ll have an indisputable claim on that Coach of the Year title.
October 4, 2017 at 10:02 am #75493JackPMillerParticipantI’m starting to believe in our team. Please, no Brenda K Starr reference. I mean this McVay magic that is going on. If somehow, we can pull off the next 3 games, going 3-0 going 6-1 going into our bye week, then I will shocked, and will buy in. I know I had us going 5-11, but that is due to based on history. When do you see a team go like we did, which was 4-12, fire our Head Coach, Jeff Fisher, then hire a new Head Coach which is Sean McVay, and in one year become contenders? Does not happen in the NFL like that. Just saying. Could it be a miracle season, with McVay magic? I hope so, and I want him to prove me wrong. Possible Super Bowl Champs? Probably not. Then again, lets enjoy the ride he has us on so far.
